Rather than use his paws like any other plumerian he enjoys picking up objects like glasses or bags because it allows him to walk freely even if it does look a little strange but really it allows for him to hold more objects. Kaycie's tail is a bit stronger than the normal plumerian so he can pick up heavier objects this way but of course if the object is to heavy for his tail he will just drag it along with his teeth
