Short Story or Art: Nova saw a beautiful ribbit sitting near a pond, staring at the sky, fur seeming to almost sparkle in the light. Nova grinned to himself, believing that this time, he could successfully woe a pretty lady. He croaked, catching the attention of the other ribbit. He gracefully hopped onto a half rotted log, showing off his strength and agility, only to immediately crash through the log to his horror. Nova laid in the log, ashamed of failing so badly in front of a beautiful ribbit like that one. He heard hopping approaching the log and before he could get up, the other ribibt was looking down in the hole, almost seeming to smirk. "You're the third one to try today, bud." Came the unmistakably manly voice from the ribbit, croaking down at Nova. The ribbit hopped away, croaking gleefully as Nova laid in the log, doubly shamed now.
