what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?;
Gertrude loves making fancy decorated cakes and other baked goods. She's often seen at the local market selling off cupcakes that are dressed up as bunny rabbits and ladybugs, and cookies shaped as stars and hearts with plenty of pink icing and sprinkles. Straw hats, bows, and pretty floral dresses are also a favourite of hers, and whilst she isn't exactly unhappy with her rather off-putting appearance in public places she will try to distract from it with said clothes just to avoid drawing too much attention to herself.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?; He tries to wear bright colours amid his usual dark attire and smile a lot when in company of others. Though sometimes all his forced cheerfulness can come across as rather creepy, and doesn't always help his case. He tries nonetheless becoming rather skilled at looking relaxed and calm no matter how much someone has pushed him. But when even his best fake mood isn't convincing enough he uses his wry humour to break the ice. He also tends to keep his eyes looking off to the side and never quite giving eye contact, as most people are disturbed by his exceedingly piercing gaze. In his mind he is the best friend of everyone he meets so he often takes up hobbies that the others enjoy. That way when he meets them next that have something in common. It isn't creepy he learned this about them though and started doing it too. Nope, not at all... As far as meeting kids go he is usually pretty good at faking interest, and for whatever reason most little ones are more intrigued then scared of him. In reality he finds kids the most terrifying thing that exists and would rather run away screaming like a total wimp. But that kind of reaction would make others' think he is unstable or something and he can't have that since he is already putting so much effort into looking harmless as it is.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?; To convince others that he's harmless, Boffy wears a derp bear hat. It looks so much derpy, that instead of being scared, everyone laughs at him. In addition, he wears bearish shoes so it matches his 'costume'. Nobody who looks at him ever thought he was scary because they looked at what he wears first, and they all had a pretty good laugh at him. As much as Boffy hates everyone laughing near him all the day, he prefers that more than tons of screams.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?; To show people that he isn't as harmful as he looks, Julian spends his free time making flower crowns. Everyday he spends a few hours creating hundreds of flower crowns for people that look frightened of him when he goes out in the street. He gathers all colors and sizes of flowers, he walked the streets with them all carefully placed in a bag he carries. He'll try to hand them one if they flinch from him he'll gently lay it at their feet and try to smile without causing them to scream in terror, he tries hard to seem harmless and less terrifying than he looks as it wasn't his fault that he was born this way. A few people understand what he is trying to do and accept the flower crowns with a smile after a few minutes of staring at him, confused. But there is a lot of people that scream, or cry, or yell at him and destroy his flower crowns out of terror at his face. It hurts him deeply when that happens but he'll just take the broken pieces if he can and walk away, no grudge or anger in his heart towards them.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?;
Somnus hardly ever talks, so instead of explaining the fact he isn't scary, Som will balance spoons on his nose and pretend to rattle them across his "bones". Somnus always carries around spoons, so it is never a problem of not having a spoon to balance or twirl or rattle. It's a odd little talent he has picked up, but over all does the trick of making him less threatening pretty well.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?; Tirith will pick a plume he wishes to befriend, and watches them closely. He tries to find out what their life is like, their favourite things, how they act around other plumies, ect. Once he thinks he has enough information, he will make that plume a necklace/bracelet with charms to represent the things that mean the most to them, using beads to show their demeanour. He will give them that necklace, in hopes that they know he is trying very hard to get to know them.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?;
Silo had a hard time finding a way to get people to not be afraid of him. smiles and talking nice just did not cut it. His smiles scared people, and so did his voice. Soon he found out that maybe some people weren't worth trying, yet he still wanted to. He had to find away to say who he was with out ever even speaking. This proved difficult, because if social skill weren't his forte, body language wouldn't be either. Silo instead found that he had an aptitude for art. Over time he discovered different mediums of which her could create pictures. His favorite thing to do is use chalk pastels, though for the sake of gaining trust, her finds simple quick cartoon sketches work best. He tries to make them humorous and light, something that show he means no harm, while still being something the person may want. He will of course signal tot them to pause before he he starts his work. Sometimes people are to afraid to wait as long as as it takes him to make something, but silo has learned to deal with not always succeeding. If he doesn't have paper with him for some odd reason, her will try using his surroundings to create art. Only after a piece of art is accepted will he try to talk to someone, in which he will normally only state his name, in hopes the other person is read to come up with some sort of conversation, as he does have the desire to make friends, he still isn't very good at conversation, needing to feed off what other says. In fact, he will sometimes trying to speak with his drawings instead of his voice. Demeanor wise, he tries to stay calm,and keep any expression to himself until he knows who he's dealing with.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?;
Reilly uses a variety of colored scarves and flowers to convince others that they are indeed harmless. They wouldn't dream of wearing anything without color, and always adorns themselves with bright colors. They generally wear one specific outfit ; a yellow sweater, large rhinestone earrings, three or four colored scarves, and at least four daisies. Though Reilly has a variety of outfits that help them appear harmless, their absolute favorite is their very color [ and informative ] scarf that has the entire table of periodic elements printed onto it. Needless to say, it generally works, as they come off as nerdy, which to them is far better than being seen as frightening.
