General Info
Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.
Orphan Rescue Event wrote:The story goes like this;
A human trapper had stolen many chrysaora foals and was selling them in a underground black market. A organization of people stopped him and rescued the foals, and are now trying to adopt them out. Each of the foals needs an experienced owner to love and raise them. We're counting on you, the members of the chry community, to give these babes a second chance at life.

hey my name is vio. i'm living at the Irish Western Stables.
i've been with horses since i'm born, because my parnets life on a
farm. we have many diffrent horses here. from rescued ones to
priceless competition horses. we mostly do western because we
breed quater horses and appalossas.everything i know i got from
my dad and he got it from my grandpa who got itfrom his dad.
so it's a long family thing. my dad told me i've always been addicted
to horses. and everytime he searched for me, he knew where i
would be. in the box of my favorite horse. his name was samuel.
he already was an old granny horse but he was my first horse to
ride on when i started it. he was so patient whenever i made a
mistake and teached me how to work with him. good old samuel.
he pased by as he was 34 years old! it seemed like he wanted to
teach me everything, so all the young horses will be in good hands.
i'm 21 years old now and there is a big taming event starting,
where i want to practice what i've learned so far. i can't wait to
see which horse i'll lay my hands on and give them a good home
where they will be loved with everything i got.
so let's get this adventure starting.

It have been about 5 month as i got Deimos, 4,9 month as i got Jasmine and 2 month as I got Celine. I feel adicted to these horses. They are special in every way you can think of. When i look at the time whic pasts, I got to say that Celine was the most hard to handle. Not that she wanted to bite me a finger off, well she also seem to dislike Deimos. I can't leave them alone and had to put Celine into another Box so she can't see him beause she demolished the box she was in, which was right across from Deimos Box. So she's an agressive little girl who seems to have a weakness for chocolate bars. Well one day a bar fell out of my jacket and she ate it and wanted to have more. Not that I give her too many, but once a month she wants to have her chocolate bar. She was not realy easy to handle. I got so many problems with her ! She didn't want me to clean her and got fleas and was itchy all the time. She had to realize that she needs a wash sometimes to get these off so we got into the washing and brushing thing. She still don't like it that much. And gosh. The day i tried to do some horsemanship with her was a desaster.I mean it ONLY took me 3 weeks to get her halter on. Good right? Well. My dad was in the hall training with Jasmine, which looked realy hilarious because she has a realy nice movement and my dad seemed so impressed by that, but as soon as Celine got into the hall she jumped around like a little foal because of her and my dad had to move his training to the outside, luckily it was a wonderfull sunny day.So as she noticed that she got the whole hall for her she was happy. What a nasty little thing she is. She calmed down and started to trott in a circle around me, at least she was good at this. She holded her tail straight up which made her look like a princes and her knees got up so high you thought they would touch the sky. But as I know my lady this only lasts for 5 minutes until she got her ticks again. Well. But i don't only want to talk about her "bad" habits. She's also realy willing ! 2 weeks ago i first rode her and we still had little cavaletti's at the hall, I didn't want to ride her outside because i thought she would not want it but hey, I'm still alive. She noticed them and wanted to see if she could get over them with me. She seemed to like it to jump over things so i called dad if he could build up small obstacles where she could jump over and Wow. She jumped even higher then those ! Now I know what she realy likes ! I guess she'll be my jumping lady. She's so willed to not touch the jumppoles that i thought we should start at an event which was hosted a few weeks after. So we drove there and she did so well ! We made it to the 2nd place, because she was a bit scared of the water jump but wow ! She jumped so high ! I'm so in love with this gal. I hope that one day she'll maybe like Deimos a bit, even if it's only a tiny bit, so we can go to events all together.

Name: Twilight Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back 'Destroya'
Gender: Female
Task: Suddenly, I was in the cold icy water. My lungs were screaming for air and as I tried to swim upwards, I found that I was paralysed. Stone cold dread set in my stomach and the pain from my lungs throbbed on the inside. I was going to drown no doubt about that. I knew there was one question I still had to answer myself, should I just give up, stop trying to flail and just accept that I was going to die, or keep on attempting to move and see if I can somehow reach the top. I'd like to say that I didn't give up and eventually got to the top but I'd be lying. I gave up and carried on sinking. The many souls that the murky water had already claimed whispered and sung in my air. It was eerie. Shooting pains were flying through my chest as I sunk. It was like I was being stabbed and then the pressure set in clenching at my body. If my lungs didn't run out of air sooner, I'd crumple beneath the pressure. I'd noticed it was getting darker and darker as my vision started to fade.
I removed my hand from the shivering Chrysaora filly that is just found alone. I swayed as I put my hand to my head. Where was the water, the drowning and the sense of defeat. She just looked at me with hollow eyes and I knew she'd been through hell. The filly mustn't have even been weaned before she was removed from her mother under circumstances I'd rather not find out because I knew that sometimes upon contact Chrysaoras can show you past images of their lives. This filly was a miracle - she's almost drowned to survive the cull of the Chrysaora's in Lucent and she needed a home and I was going to provide that.
