General Info
Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

Orphan Rescue Event wrote:The story goes like this;
A human trapper had stolen many chrysaora foals and was selling them in a underground black market. A organization of people stopped him and rescued the foals, and are now trying to adopt them out. Each of the foals needs an experienced owner to love and raise them. We're counting on you, the members of the chry community, to give these babes a second chance at life.

First Encounter with you: I was going to my first auction of the season with a lead in my hand and lots of paperwork. I was walking through the stables looking for #281, the number on my paperwork when I saw her on my left. She was laying in the corner of her stall bundled up in a blanket. When I finally stopped at her stall, she looked at me and then dropped her head back onto the cold ground. I slowly opened her stall door and approached her. I set my paperwork and lead down so she wouldn't be frightened by them. I sat down next to her but she didn't even give me a glance. I grabbed a carrot out of my bag and placed it next to her head. She sniffed it and nudged it away. I touched her neck softly and she winced as if she was in pain. I retracted my hand and placed it in front of her nostrils so she could sniff and observe me. She shifted her head again, away from me as if she wanted to be a recluse. I scavenged through my bag for any item of use. I found my a blue bear that I won at the carnival a week ago. I gently set the comforting toy next to her chest. Her somber head rapidly rose and she pulled it closer to her heart. Her eyes full of tragedy and trepidation stared into my eyes and I reached out to stroke her cheek. I cuddled in with her and caressed her gently. I gave her several apples that I had freshly picked this morning. After a few hours of laying together, I decided to name her Pangea, Pan for short. When it was time to go back home, she grabbed her bear in her mouth and walked alongside me, looking happier and less introverted. I loaded Pan into my trailer and drove home. Knowing that she was safe and my baby, a smile broke out on my face.

First Encounter with you:
This was the day I long had waited for, the day I would be able to be reunited with the foal that was stolen from my bloom. I was hoping it would still be an egg, so I could continue on with how things where, it hadn't been that long ago that the egg was stolen, so there was no way it was
