Discipline Therapy horse, mostly used for teens with low self esteem and (or) depression. Her sweet personality and unwillingness to give up, yet stuborness to push over, makes her perfect for the job.
MateBaldr
Five word personaWithdrawn, Loyal, Determained, Broken,Protective
Favorite human Amy, a girl who was very scared of horses and thought they were stupid at first. As time went on, she began to see that Frida was not giving up on her, and slowly, grudgingly, came to respect her. Frida and Amy have a love hate relationship, its not all butterflies and rainbows after all.
Nonhuman companion Moe
Favorite food Start to finish peppermint horse treats
Character arc Starts very hyper and kind, begins to become desperate for attention, gets bad rep, becomes violent, becomes broken, Amy and her begin to help each other
Riding level Advanced when ridden, she has a tendency to become distracted when she sees Loki or hears music. She also is a bit lazy when it comes to jumps, and will just walk around them unless the rider can say what they mean and be the boss.
Friends Michael is a father figure in her life, he was patient with her even while she went through her antisocial period. Raphael is a very large role model to her, he taught her to be strong and calm.Castiel is a casual friend, he is fairly quiet and will sometimes stand with her when Baldr is not in the paddock.Sam is probably her best friend,he can tell when she is feeling down, and makes sure to stand with her when Baldr is gone. Gabriel is the one who taught her that tracks don't always get you in a good place, but can be fun if used sparingly.Willow was a mother figure to Frida and protected her from Loki, now they are very fond of each other. They are stalled next to each other and visit each other often.
Indael: Indael can be a bit of a butt, he is an aquired taste to say the least, but he and Frida love to play tricks on the older horses. Their tricks are never harmful, and they love to have a good laugh about it. They constantly try to out do each other in a friendly way for the title of Trickster. The current title holder is Frida, who holds the record with replacing a human's crackers with horse treats.
Enemies Loki was very revenge oriented and harmed Baldr quite a bit, Frida lashes out at him often and cannot be near him. Hel is rather rude to Frida, Hel is younger than Frida and was brought up by Loki and Lucifer, she carries Loki's bias. Lucifer is not really an enemy of Frida, but he is not always cooperative with her and often messes with her in a negative way.
Theme song Blackbird- The Beatles All about getting over obstacles and flying. This is similar to her story, as she overcame many things to "fly" and have a good life.
Medical informationSeparation anxiety, Equine Turner syndrome (a faulty gene that makes the mare's overies inactive.)
Quirks Frida enjoys picking up buckets and stacking them. She will "dance" to music that is played near her by strutting around with an odd gait.
Other info Frida is unable to bear foals she and Baldr have had two foals but they were both stillborn. She cannot be around Loki without attempting to attack him. Has seperation anxiety with Baldr.

official record of history wrote:Official record of At peace for the time, Frida
At peace for the time or Frida was born on the 29th of October 2008 to a shattered family of a famous sire and a mare of a strong bloodline. She would never know her father, as he was only a stud. By the time she was two her owners figured out she had quite a wild streak. Her refusal to be trained combined with her good bloodline caused her to be shut up in the barn as a broodmare. When it was found that she could not become pregnant after many attempts, the owners had her tested. About a month later was found she had Equine turner syndrome, a genetic disorder that prevents the mare's ovaries from working correctly. She was then auctioned to Rusted Pine for a very low price, only about $1200. She was only about two when she came to Rusted Pine. She didn't understand why she had been moved, and became very upset. As she grew, trainers at Rusted Pine managed to use more gentle means of training and help her allow a rider. At four years old Frida was taught how to jump, unlike most horses, she took much longer to catch on and not stop in front of the jump. At the age of five, she met Baldr, a shy black appaloosa Frida had many issues, but at the age of six, sustained much trauma when her mate was poisoned by what was suspected to be a carless rider. At her current age (seven) Frida is a therapy horse, and is not an active competitor in any local or national shows or events.
one last story wrote:
It was the eve of the winterlights 2008. The wind had blown in the snow early this year. Outside the wind moaned and snarled angrily. Inside the large barn, a mare nuzzled her newborn filly, the doctors attempting to examine the filly while its mother urged it to stand. The doctors in their white coats, the other horses kicking in frenzy, the adreniline soaking the air. The filly, only 30 minutes old, would soon know what was to be expected of her. But for now, she hapily clung to her mother.
The filly grew slowly, and was quite a bit shorter than expected when grown. Still, her burden was to be placed upon her stout back. The training started at two, much younger than it should have. She would stumble and fall, as the trainer's cracked whips threateningly. She would not know what she was to do until she was quite older. Every night, after hours long training, she would be uncerimoniouly shoved back into her stall.
The owner had backed down, the potential buyer backed down. No one wanted her, she, as it turned out, could not bear young, she was a clumsy jumper, and overly stuborn. She was more of a liability and a black hole for money to slip down, than an asset. And so it was decided, if she was not sold within the span of a year, she would be put down.
The year was plesant enough for the young filly, now 4. She was no longer forced to train or jump, she got her way most of the time. But the end of the year was but a month away, and still there was no buyer to be found.
Until somthing that could only be a miracle, sent by the Gods, happened.
A sole letter arrived in the mail, a printed out add had been circled, and a messily scrawled note read:
This note sent the humans into a frenzy. They would have sold her for $1,000 if offered. The buyer came, had a look over the mare. The mare poked at the human, seeing what it's intentions were....
The mare returned with the buyer. Not understanding what was happening. But then again, it was probably for the best.
