Julian stepped inside the room, quickly becoming blinded by the light. "Ow, the light hurts..." He muttered, quietly moving forward. As his eyes began to adjust to the light, he saw the creature cowering behind a stunning pink lava lamp. As he saw the creature becoming so scared, he blinked, eyes wide in shock. "P-please don't be afraid. I won't hurt you." All thoughts of getting more candy left his mind, and he walked closer; very slowly, but still moving forward. "I promise I won't hurt you."

Response -- Jasper tilted his head. They're frightened... I must save them!!! The light shined in his little eyes, and a small smile emitted from his face. He went a little bit closer to the lamp. "Hi, I'm here to.." I'm Peter Pan, show it! "I won't hurt you, because I'm here to save you!" His smile went wide across his face and passion showing in his eyes.

Response -- Faline's ears perked curiously upon hearing the stammering voice, she blinked softly and walked inside, but stayed just far enough away before kneeling down on the ground. "A-Ah my name is Faline." She said gently. "I did not mean to scare you if I did." She said referring to the creature cowering behind the beautiful pink lava lamp like thing. Faline thought about it more, "That's a pretty light huh?" She asked curiously, hoping to coax the creature out, she didn't want it being to scared of her after all she liked to make friends… though again she also didn't want it to be more scared so she stayed where she was just chatting to it softly. Then she realized upon waiting for her answer, "Oh! You never mentioned your name… what is yours?" She asked softly.

The creature gave a very hesitant look, slowly slinking further behind the lava lamp. "I-I don't t-trust you," they stuttered out. "T-the door!" the creature said, their attention now directed to the door that had been left open. Seemingly without a second thought, they made a mad dash out the door, nearly tripping over something on the ground. With a closer look, it seemed to be a book. Though the cover was worn, a few letters of the title were still visable, "T_ _ ::Pe_ f _ _ t :: _ ict _ _"

The creature coward back still, but not as much as before. "S-s-save m-me?" they questioned, "W-why do I n-need to be saved? I-I have everything I want r-right here." They came out from behind the lava lamp a little bit, "B-but it does get lonely down here s-sometimes . . ." all of a sudden, they lit up, "O-oh! You must the surprise they were talking about!" The creature seemed to brighten up a little bit.

The creature held onto the lava lamp, "Y-yes, I really like my lava lamp," they said quietly. "M-my name?" the creature gave a very inquisitive look, "I-I don't think I was ever given one . . ." Though they were hard to make out from behind the lava lamp, it was easy to tell that their ears folded back a little bit.
