The tradition required Lilia take out the candy and set bins near her house before anyone came, she would eat one candy at all of the ones near her house, She does this because her mother used to tell her to always pick up one candy out of each one, don't be greedy. Lilia had always done this in memory of her mother who was always there for her. Lilia forever more always picked one candy while trick or treated, and always picked one treat in deserts always. Toby's favorite tradition on Halloween, would definately be making 'potions' for the trick-or-treaters.
Jolly Rancher potions, specifically. October has always been deeply involved in alchemy, and interested
in magic, so it just seemed to click for her! Her recipe is top secret, though, so I'd better not repeat it
here. But they usually come out as bright, sweet-tasting, soda-like fizzy drinks, that make her house
very popular with the trick-or-treaters. Toby herself prefers the grape ones, as she, unlike most
children, adores the taste of anything grape-flavoured! October's mother always buys the supplies, and
then leaves it all to Toby!

Fisher competes with friends every year to see who can get the most candy, and they even have a point system so that king sized/rare candies are worth more. After the candy is counted up, the winner is declared Halloween King for the entire year. Then they start trading candy, with the Halloween King being the one to do the first trade. Fisher finds it a lot of fun and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.
