Salem's favorite Halloween tradition is the "You've been booed!" tradition.
They love the excitement of rushing to their front door, hoping to one day
catch a person giving them treats. Going out and booing others by leaving
treats on their doorstep and running away as fast as they can is exhilarating,
and leaves Salem's heart pounding with excitement. They always did it with
their siblings and parents, so they have wonderful memories of Halloween.

Though it might seem weird, he isn't that big of a fan of large doses of high sugars, or the spooky little tricks the neighboring haunted houses offer. Cleaning, and the readying for the next holiday is Noot's favorite thing.
Though it may seem odd, the anxiousness and excitement for the next national 'treat' of the world, much like Halloween for the small children, and Christmas for the whole wide world. Cleaning may involve manual labor, but the fun of taking down spider webs and throwing them at his friends is pretty fun.

Hot chocolate in one hand while he uses the other to bring life to his stories. It's the same every year and he wouldn't change a thing. It's perfect and even though he knows there's someone waiting to jump out from behind the pile of wood, he still never avoids it. It's his tradition.
