ideas;; was a french baron in the late 1700s, lived a life of indulgence and debauchery, had special interest in the paranormal and held seances and such, eventually became allies and business partners with vampires, at one point a conflict between them broke out, they attacked one night, most of his household and eventually himself was killed- he remained tied to the house and some centuries later he encountered a shadow- they combined their knowledge of the occult and thought up a plan for him to become a doll so they could sign a contract. he possessed the current owner of the house, and a ball jointed doll was commissioned. when it arrived, the ghost possessed the doll and the contract was signed, bringing him back to life. he resolved to get revenge on the vampires who took his life from him, and over many years became an overall supernatural hunter, as there are a surprising amount of strange monsters in the dollhouse and the dimensions beyond. he also holds the ability to reap souls due to his scythe, which he found in a far dimension. this is his weapon of choice, as it can not only inflict wounds on the physical but eradicate spirits.
