Sovann is an enigmatic individual with a keen eye for all things beauty. On the outside, he is charming and witty, a most pleasing conversational partner. He has polished and perfected his natural charisma over the years until even the most rigid stag will calm in his presence; any who engage with him will likely find themselves enamored by the polite words spoken in his smooth tenor. Sovann makes friends as easily as breathing; he both loves and hates deeply, although there aren't many who he would call his enemy. Yet despite how outgoing he may seem, this bull can hardly be called an extrovert. Without time to himself at the end of each day, he can be quickly driven to irritability that manifests as twitching, such occasions are rare. When the basking sun sets the bull retreats to his private place, a half cave formed by the sprawling roots of a tree in the woods. There he can curl up in the remnants of daylight and trace the shimmering paths dust motes make across the clearing with his eyes.

It may seem unlikely, or perhaps not so much when you observe the gold earring, but Sovann's one true passion is collecting beautiful things. Shards of colorful glass, a bird's dappled egg, a blooming flower... If it attracts the eye, rest assured he will be there, cooing over the item. His favorite is gold, of course, though jewelry is a rare prize in the wilderness.

This aspect of him is no cover. Sovann truly enjoys entertaining others, but he is much less unassuming than he seems. When there is no one around to impress, the pleasant smile slips off of his face and his visage becomes cool and calculating. As a calf, he had been advised by his mother to make others like him - "It will benefit you greatly in life," she said. And take it to heart he did; he became invested in determining how best to gain favor, and he uses it to gain knowledge and valuable items.

Sovann is a young maverick bull, right at the age where bones finish growing and lean muscle fills in the frame. His coat is a rich brown smattered with lighter creams, and his eyes gleam bright gold. He is larger than most females yet his slender form resembles theirs more closely than that of beefy steers. Overall, his build is more suited for quick bursts of speed rather than distance. This is something of a proud point for him - he finds chunky forms unsightly, and works hard in order to stay healthy.

Walking away from the herd and towards the forest Duke had enough for one day. He was annoyed with the rest of
the herd. He normally didn't get a rise in temper, but today he had enough. He wasn't exactly anyone's favorite to
be around, but he always made sure that others had a good time, including himself. However, right now he needed
to just make himself happy and clear his head for a little while.



"Hey, Duke!" It obviously wasn't one of the older bulls or cows. Simply by the high-pitched tone of the voice. Turning
around to face the herd only to see the two young calves trotting towards him, both their pelts were a smooth, even
color of chocolate brown. Plain, yet beautiful. However, these two didn't have the attitudes to match.
"What do you two pipsqueaks want?" Duke grumbled.
"What a greeting" the young bull calf retorted. The two stood in front of the bull, trying to stand tall and bigger than
him, but failed in the end. Irritation started bubbling in Duke. "What do you two want?"
"Wow. Now I see why the other cows and bulls talk so poorly about you." The taunting didn't stop, but rather continued
on. That is until Duke wandered off.



"Stupid calves. I never want to have some of my own if they're going to be like that. I mean I wasn't even that bad!"
Duke complained to himself as he marched in the woods. Before he knew it the bull was farther in the woods, deep
in the woods in fact, and he hadn't realized it until his hooves hit the feeling of icy water.

Looking up from his now water-covered hooves he spotted a cow staring back at him. Her pale pink eyes were filled
of curiosity, and the slight tilt of her head only confirmed that she was curious. Her fur was almost, almost the
same pure pale brown color as the calves that caused his walk, but this cow had a few darker brown spots on her face,
her legs and tail. She was more beautiful than the so-called "perfect" single-colored cows, at least he thought so.

Taking a step towards the cow, but stopping a moment after, realizing he was just going to walk deeper into the pool
of water, so he decided on a different tactic. "Hey!" Duke shouted out towards the cow, who looked quite baffled that
he had even tried to speak to him. "Hey?" She called back. "What are you doing way out here bull?"

"I'm just....clearing my head. What are you doing out here?" Duke called out, only to get no response and no longer see
the brown cow. Sighing he bent his head down towards the water and started to lap up the cool liquid. At least, one
second he was standing, and the next he was laying down on his side, soaked in the water. "What on-" Duke didn't finish
his sentence, because right as he looked up there was the mysterious cow, grinning at her actions.

"I'm sorry, did you fall into the pond?" She giggled. "I'm Isabelle. And you are?"
