Why I choose this name:
I named her after the notorious town of Salem, a town believed to be filled with witches. Though it was never proved and may never be proved that the people burned were actually witches, the town was thought to be cursed and doomed by something living within it.

Something about Salem seems to be quite off. She seems normal, but something sets her aside. Her pretty smile, graceful steps, and bright ideas are just like any cow, but she isn't just any other cow. Salem's coat is feared by the other cows, even if it has nothing to do with her. Salem's mother even rejected the calf when born, making her an orphan from birth and without a name. She was never like any of the other cows. Others may call her dark and mysterious, but one of the main things making her stand out is her love to know. Cows don't hunt nor eat meat, but Salem will dissect dead animals to find out more about them and likes to discover more about her surroundings, but won't share. Overall, she rarely talks at all. She's polite, but has little to say for a cow with a lot of knowledge. She prefers listening, instead of sharing. If she listens, she learns. If she talks, she gives knowledge away. Some have began calling her a witch because of her curiosity, and gave her the name "Salem". Though she learned to appreciate it, she feels very self conscious around others and doesn't understand why they dislike her.

A rather eccentric cow, Mhjona tends to wander the pastures on the outskirts of the herds. She's always finding the perfect bed of grass to lie down and enjoys being nuzzled by other animals or pet by humans, sometimes even playing with the herding dogs.

She's always had issues feeling like she's a part of the heard, though they welcome her, she's a bit uncertain around them. They're always grazing and walking about so slowly... she prefers playing with the dogs instead. Bouncing around, kicking up her hooves and tossing her head around, and even playing fetch or tug-o-war. Ever since she was a calf, all she's ever wanted was to be around dogs and act like one. Of course she seemed a bit off to the other cattle, but she's not bothering anyone if she's off with the dogs, so nobody pesters her about it and Mhjona enjoys her small furry friends.
