Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a unique breed of pythons that have paint seeping from their tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly smaller than their close cousins, ball pythons, females being around 2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long. Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent, and PTP are no exception. PTP tend to be quite shy when first introduced to their owners, but will warm up quickly and soon become inseparable. PTP have exceptionally long lifespans, and have been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

Seasonal Name: Autumn
PTP Gender: Female

Despite the fact that she is named after Fall, she would have to disagree with it being her favorite season. She is actually a fan of the season winter. She loves the orange, yellow and red leaves that dance in the breeze as they fall from the trees, but the same the warm colors get old for her. She need the refreshing, pure white snow and the cold fresh air to cleanse her mind and scales. She also loves the idea of all of nature falling into a great sleep as it prepares for the upcoming spring, which will bring all sorts of new life and colors to the world. Autumn find it very ironic that she has a leaf-like pattern, and her favorite time of year is the part where there are no leaves at all. She loves to play in the snow with cold ice against her scales. The colorful lights and decorations of snakes preparing for the upcoming holidays and fresh scent of gingerbread and eggnog fill the air and surroundings with vast amounts of festivity.Away form civilization, there is an unmeasurable amount of peacefulness to be uncovered. The crunch of ice under her belly and the smell of fresh powder get her heart beating like no other season can. The other can't compete with the silence and serenity of a frozen lake and the unshatterable stillness of nature. Autumn can always be found catching the first snowflakes at the end of Fall. In the winter you will always know where to find her.
By Robert Frost wrote:O hushed October morning mild,
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow's wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.
The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
O hushed October morning mild,
Begin the hours of this day slow.
Make the day seem to us less brief.
Hearts not averse to being beguiled,
Beguile us in the way you know.
Release one leaf at break of day;
At noon release another leaf;
One from our trees, one far away.
Retard the sun with gentle mist;
Enchant the land with amethyst.
Work in progress
