another i've had in my saved drawings for a while... stone angels are spooky, so i thought it was only appropriate.

this has been decided to be an impress me. Yes an original contest but I want this wolf to go to the best home as I really got attached to it. out of site forms are allowed, separate thread forms are allowed. No tumblr forms, my computer can't handle a lot of blog themes and crashes tumblr very easily.

I judge based on dedication and the character portrayed. There will not be any ru's for this competition...

At first glance you may not be able to tell, but Irin is one of the most rebellious wolves you will ever meet. The words "You can't" are fuel to her fire. She hates being told no or she cannot do something and will go completely against anything anyone says. What you can tell though is her shyness. She may be the most pretty thing in the room, but is sometimes determined to be quiet. Once she does start talking she is very flirtatious and flirts with anyone unintentionally. Irin also likes to see the glass half full, seeing good in any bad situation. But even if she has this quality, she does talk to two people in bad situations. Really in any situation she talks to them, which is her "Mom" and her Raven Archetto. Her mother is just a wolf she made in her mind. She constantly says she sees her on the street, which is just a wolf statue, but in her world it is her mother. As for her raven, she talks to him out loud and claims to get responses when it is just her in her head. She truly adores her bird and never leaves him alone, She is never seen without her trusty raven friend.

I looked over to a RPW today, and they
seemed frightened.Was it my eyes? Or
my appearance? It's a usual thing now,
I've learned to live with it. I don't care
anymore, really, except I have to keep
moving otherwise i do look like a
stature. Sometimes, I like to look in the
mirror and stare into my eyes. Personally
I love them but to most people I just look
dead or strange? That's not my fault and I
guess they don't understand that. I love
how deep they look, they are elegant colors..
Can eyes be elegant? Oh well, I think they're
great and that's all that matters. My mom on
the other hand doesn't care for them. It
frightens her... and it bothers me. She can
just leave me alone. I tell others about mom,
but they just tell me she's in my mind. That's
impossible, I've seen her before. She's usually
outside or something, she doesn't move though.
She thinks I should stay still like her, and I'm
not going to. I am my own wolf and she wont
tell me what to do. I love her and all, but this
is my life and I'm going to live it in motion. I
don't find standing still and never blinking or
moving appealing or fun at all. I don't understand
how she even does it. It's so strange. My bird
doesn't care for what my mom says either, although
mom only speaks to me, I tell Archetto everything.
He is my best friend and nothing will come in
between that, ever. He's so sweet and reassuring.
Arch can be a little selfish, but ultimately he is
nice... to me at least. He screeches at really
anyone who try's to touch me. I still love him too,
he likes my cold, soft kisses to the top of his beak.
It's just a small love peck for my reliable friend.
Anyway, that's all for today.

5-word personality|| Practical - Suave - Calm - Perfectionist - Dangerous
in-depth personality|| Asriel is a man of reason. He's very pragmatic - with everything that goes wrong in his life, he'll look at it with a sensible viewpoint. (And trust me; a LOT of things go wrong in his life.) But that isn't to say he's not a believer in superstition. Oh, no - there are some things that Asriel knows that he can't simply explain, and with those things, he treads lightly. It's not exactly uncommon for one to find him throwing a pinch of salt over his shoulder if he spills the shaker, or to see his lucky rabbit's foot attached to his belt.

Asriel is also very charming. He's very respectful to everyone he meets; he finds no reason in being rude to anyone, as cruelty begets cruelty (as he always says). With that being said, the ladies are very fond of him, it seems. He's very kind to them - he treats them with the utmost respect, and won't tolerate rude behaviors/gestures towards a woman. But that does not necessarily mean he's a flirt. While he does appreciate the attention he receives from women, he shows no interest in ever getting married.

To put it simply, Asriel is level-headed. He doesn't freak out over anything, and very rarely is he seen in a great bout of stress. He manages to keep a positive, optimistic outlook on things, and will keep his cool even in the most stressful of situations. He's just not one to panic, or worry over anything. Instead, he'll switch his focus to another matter - whether it be his "job" or simply what will be on TV later that night, he'll just turn his attention towards that.

Asriel is, in short, a perfectionist. Everything has to be perfect; it has to be. If it's not, well, he won't freak out or anything, but it will annoy him until he can fix it. For instance, if a painting is only an inch out of place, he won't focus solely on that, but it will linger in the back of his mind until he gets a chance to straighten it. That's just how he is.

Although he may not seem like it, Asriel is, without a doubt, a very dangerous creature to be around. While he may appear calm and friendly upon first meeting him, if you dare harm anyone he's close to, good luck getting away from him. He'll stop at nothing until you're taken care of. This goes hand in hand with his perfectionism; the revenge must absolutely be perfect, and if it's not, he'll make it so. He's very good at keeping someone from making him mad again - whether it be through verbal threats or physical violence, he'll make sure you knock it off real fast. In short, he's not someone you'd want to cross.


best friend|| Chimaera - Ah, yes, the tiny one. Asriel has claimed her as his best friend, and for good reason, too; she's very partial to him, and also protective of the older male. These two are practically inseparable; it's rare to see one without the other. In fact, Asriel has sort of made it his 'job' to keep Chim safe from danger. In return for his protection, she offers him her companionship.

why i want him|| Asriel has caught my attention from day one of this competition. Even after his wings were removed, I felt myself drawn to him. Now, I'm not going to lie and say he's my dream RPW. I'm not going to try and guilt-trip you into giving him to me. What I will say is this: Asriel is a beautiful RPW whom I'd love to own. He certainly does have a marvelous design that's simple enough for me to replicate without too much difficulty, and that alone is a major plus. I'm digging the color palette used, and the heterochromia and long hair are really sticking out to me. Altogether, he's a very beautiful RPW. But, of course, his appearance isn't the sole reason I want him. Oh, no; that would be ridiculous. The main reason I want Asriel is because of the character concept I've created here. I absolutely adore the idea of Asriel working as Chimaera's 'bodyguard' of sorts. It seems too cute to me - this big, scary stone angel caring for a tiny foofball of a wolf... It's just ironic, in a sense. That brings up another reason to make me want Asriel - for development. Not just of him, but also of Chimaera. It seems like it would be really fun to develop the two of them together, so that makes him all the more tempting.
use/plans|| Of course, as stated before, Asriel would be used for character development. Right now, I've found absolutely no muse to work on the pages of my other RPW's, so I figure that getting some fresh blood in my pack would help bring me out of this development slump. Asriel would also be used in stories - most likely with Chimaera, of course, as I cannot see him without her somewhere nearby. Another thing I'd like to use Asriel in is art. Art is a key factor for me, and while I cannot draw him all the time, I'll be sure to draw him as often as possible. I plan on making a comic series with Asriel, actually; it would be based on the story of how he and Chimaera met, and would reveal a little bit of his backstory. Asriel would also probably be featured in an animatic-type project I'm planning to work on, should I win him. The animatic would be set to his theme song, and I feel that this would be very interesting to work with. I may use him for various other things, but overall, he will be loved.
