What is a Sima?

Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.

The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.

Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.

The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.

A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

A colour altering sima who changes between full colour and greyscale depending on certain variables that you will get to choose
This trait may however never be inherited but any and all of the colours they may take on can be inherited

variables for the change in colour: smith's color is influenced by how tired he feels, often ending up full-out gray scale during the periods of time where he doesn't sleep. he's usually in the middle (colors dulled) right when he wakes up, and by the time he's fully awake, he's to his 'normal' color, shades all bright. it's to mention that smith's colors are only centered around how he feels instead of a proper measurement of how much energy he actually has, so it's somewhat influenced by mood and health as well. (he often feels sluggish and exhausted without doing anything tiring when coming down with something, to explain the 'health' bit). so to summarize; exhausted = gray scale, tired = dull, normal = nearly full saturation, full of energy = bright colors
personality: working as a watch maker, smith has a deep interest in time. it is a matter to worry about if he is ever late to something, or even early (he's never one to waste a moment). he is fascinated in every matter of time, it's progression, the measurement of it, and any other detail you can think of. he keeps a set of clocks each set to a different timezone in his home. it appears though, that smith has a great fear of his time running out, which may explain why he values every minute so preciously. apart from his obsession with time, smith is a very energetic and enthusiastic sima, and often overwhelms others on their first meeting with his dramatic gestures and quick speech. he is generally cheery and quite focused, and if you grab his attention, it is sure you will keep it. if something sparks his interest, he often spends hours learning about it, which often leads to sleepless nights should it be a subject and not a person (which is often the case).

that particular emotion is. Whenever he experiences an emotion such as anger, joy, playfulness, or
silliness, his color turns their brightest; if hes feeling angry or provoked, his color actually flushes to an
even brighter color.
Let's say he's feeling serious, sad, lonely, worried, or upset: his color will dull a lot. Sometimes it dulls more times than
others, depending on how strong it is. If he's simply neutral, happy, or kind, it returns to 'normal'. It'll turn fully greyscale if he's tired, scared, bored, or concerned.

For the most part it passes by without him caring, since it's not so much of a surprise when you've seen it happen your entire life - but this does have its effect on Rick. He never uses temperature values anymore, just going by 'cold' or 'warm' or 'really really hot' since he doesn't feel like there's a need to use the exact measurements anymore. His fur doesn't change color when it's cold, but remains fully colored at room temperature and grays out as it gets gradually hotter. He can be... fun at saunas and at the beach when it's hot.

Personality: Rick can be somewhat uncaring, he's very cynical and will speak few words. He's usually seen alone, being a rather introverted type of Sima, and he loves tinkering. He's currently trying to find a way to make his devices change color based on heat like his fur. His intelligence makes him very, very cocky sometimes, and when he's with company he will endlessly flaunt his inventions and so-called 'genius' mind.

Misar's colors actually shift due to multiple things!

Misar is, quite frankly, an intelligent guy. In his moments of inventive clarity, inspiration and overall knowing; his colors shift to a deep grey to emphasize his concentration and determination towards his cause. It's sort of a heads up to those around him that things are about to get serious. While normally Misar is pretty carefree and cheery, his colors are brighter and in full spectrum.

Another way Misar's colors might shift would be depending on his mood. During the day if he's emotionally drained or feeling down, his colors shift more toward the greyscale side of things. Meanwhile if he's feeling particularly cheery, his colors would brighten!

If Misar is completely terrified, his colors flatline to the palest grey he ever hits. Around people he loves, his colors shift to their brightest spectrum of color.

Congrats, I had a bit of a hard time choosing the winner of this but I came to find the character built up around this factor of change to be the most interesting to me and thus my decision was made. So I hope you take good care of this little guy and well congrats yet again ^^
