His name will be Cyrus
<3 Beautiful boy.
First Touch -
I was sitting in Rondell's barn, waiting for Rondell to show up to meet Taneka, when suddenly a cute brown little face peered out of the bars in the stall. I giggled and walked over, smiling. "Hello Tan-" I started, but stopped when there was not one baby, but two, in the stall. I stared in disbelief at the twins. I quickly checked over the second foal. A boy..! I bet he'll make a great stud. I messaged the news to Rondell as I fed Molly another treat. I petted the sweet boy's head and rubbed down his neck. "Cyrus." I said to him, to which he made a snorting noise. I giggled and patted his head gently before leaving the stall again.
First Saddle -
As Taneka frolicked around the arena, testing her saddle, I approached Cyrus. He stood still, though his tail was twitching with excitement. I grabbed his saddle and put it on him, patting his shoulder and neck. "Good boy, Cyrus!" I chirped to him as I cinched it up. I patted his shoulder and stepped back. "Alright, go for it." I said. He took a step, wiggling a bit to try and loosen the saddle. He walked around the arena for a bit then suddenly started galloping, almost crashing into his sister. Taneka nipped him and ran off in the other direction with Cyrus following, his brand new saddle shining in the light. I chuckled as I walked out of the arena and sat down in a chair, watching. I covered my mouth as I yawned. I watched them for an hour, then unsaddled both and returned them to their pasture.
First Ride -
Cyrus' ears flattened back when I began to approach him with his saddle. He swished his tail nervously, not sure he liked the idea of what happened to his sister happening to him. I placed the saddle on his back and stroked his neck. "Oh shhh you big baby..." I cooed to him. I quickly cinched up the saddle and hugged him gently. Once he stopped squirming I climbed into the saddle. "Alright pre-HEY!" I yelped out as he bucked, trying to throw me off. He snorted and grumbled, no longer scared, but angry. I held on tightly as he bounded around the arena, bucking and flailing and trying to throw me. His sister sat, bewildered, as she watched. He stopped suddenly and tensed up. I knew what he was about to do, so I jumped off, rolling across the dirt floor as he rose up on his hind feet and fell backwards. He stood up, huffing and puffing as the broken remains of his saddle clung to him. I patted Taneka, took off their saddles and returned them to their pastures.
