Upon first hearing the name Tobias, it may just seem the name is rather odd for a lioness: and you may just be right.
Tobias is a lion that feels they are without gender. Biologically female, Tobias instead finds that they just don't feel comfortable with being labelled at all. Tobias often goes by Toby or Tob, and mainly uses he and him pronouns, but can refer back in a third person they or them when its felt it is needed.

Admiration wasn't something Tobias ever had.
Born in the age of peace, but by no means did Tobias live in the said tranquility: unknown of his true bloodline or the family he doesn't seem to possess no longer, Tobias has generally lead a life of seclusion. It is said his family has held a long tradition of military and battle service, and all of the members have been noted to be loyal partners and both courageous and brave on the battlefield. Originally in a family of wealth in power, a family long gone who's name is no longer known by any lion. Tobias is an only child, and doesn't remember anything of his biological family.
As a young cub, he had been blessed with the help of a divine: to whom he spent his first few years with, he does not explain how or why. Tobias is rumored to be part of completing a secret 'mission', but he neither denies nor confirms this. This may be due to the fact Tobias doesn't make friends too well, but his family's apparently loyalty shows through in the form of being a fantastic friend to the ones he has and keeps close. He has a few close friends, but often can be seen instead lurking off alone.
Found on a ruined battlefield, seemingly deserted: and it is said that if Tobias wasn't under reign of water, that he would definitely be a lion of fear. His instructors all were noble and special of sorts: while Tobias is only a 'common' lion of water, he uses his skills very oddly.

Now, it isn't as if Tobias is ridiculed for the way they feel. Instead, it happens to be the rather unethical and unorthodox methods and ways they use. More-over, its the powers they posses with the water they so dearly love.

Trackers are lion who have a adapted set of ears and a more highly sensitive nose. Trackers will be called upon to help locate a missing warrior off planet or even find the enemy encampments or troops when the lions cannot rely on site. These trackers have a lot of responsibility and are sometimes found in high risk environments.


Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits.
Water Manipulation
A basic and a must for any lion of water, Tobias has control over water. While he cannot create water, he learned early on what he can do to attain it. He can increase or decrease the size and respectively density of water: likewise, it does have limitations. Tobias can melt ice, and convert natural gasses into water, but he cannot change it into ice and making it into a gas is incredibly hard, considering he has to separate molecules and that is much of a waste of time.

Tobias cannot greatly change the temperature of water due to the high energy state it contains, but he can control currents, separate water, and manipulate it mainly as however he pleases. Note that controlling and moving large bodies of water is exhausting, and after using his abilities for a good period of time he often needs a time to 'recharge': meaning a continuous battle would require Tobias being pulled out and swapped for another lion, unless energy was being channeled to him.




Water Walking
Probably similar to other lions of water, Tobias has a fantastic ability to walk on water. Simple as it sounds, he labels it as 'walking' for a reason: running on any water takes large amounts of concentration. By utilizing a property of water and hydrogen bonds, called cohesion, he can create greater surface tension on the water, allowing him to run or walk. Walking takes minimal energy, however Tobias isn't good enough at running.

Visual Revocation
With this, Tobias can also cause limited blindness: this takes immense concentration and he has to have a clear line of sight on the target. If he gets too much water in the eyes, then after a brief second the target can see: not enough and they'll regain slight quickly. This is achieved by manipulating the water by and on the eyes to blur the vision: Tobias has been known to be constantly practicing this move rather frequently. Its rather dangerous, as Tobias himself isn't immune and can be affected as well.

Blood
This one particular is one deemed unorthodox. By manipulating the water in bodies where water is a key factor of function, Tobias can move blood of weak enemies. Note any strong or hard willed targets can break through with persistence: this takes full concentration and often just consists of the rushing of blood somewhere or the lack of blood somewhere else.

Water Pressure Control
This is a major thing of Tobias, one he truly loves. He loves expanding and contracting water: as well as controlling the pressure. A technique of manipulation, he can drown an entire object or other being completely with an extreme ammount of pressure being channeled.

Combined Abilities
Depending on who he is working with, Tobias can help combine abilities with other elemental lions to do traits and powers neither lion would normally be able to do alone.

Weaknesses Against Elements
Tobias is extremely weak to any things pertaining electricity: static shocks, lightning, and the like, severely cripple his abilities and can often leave him unable to use his skills.
He's also weak against fire, lava/magma/plasma, and ice. There is a possibility that in small amounts, a lion of sand can absorb the water from particles and render him useless, but most of the time he doesn't have issues otherwise.

Tobias is an even match against anything related to water and is hydrophobic, such as oil.

"You're being ridiculous," spoke Artemis, her icy eyes failing to intimidate the only other lion who was standing on the frozen lake. Both being fluffed up to help deter the cold, with Tobias standing in a puddle of water and Artemis' back plated in fire body armor to keep her warm, radiating the heat upwards so the ice below her wouldn't melt: the two were on a standstill.
"Shouldn't you be just training with a lion of fire?" Sparked back Tobias, lowering their head slightly as if to get on the same level as the smaller lioness.
"Of course you should fight fire with fire, idiot! Fight everything with fire, fire is obviously one of the best elements." She hissed, shifting her haunches and letting her toes wiggle with anger.

While it wasn't all too rare it wasn't exactly for common for trackers and warriors to practice together, neither were the normal type.
Artemis was a warrior without the warriors mark: appointed the position in later years despite her father being Aeon, the precious leader. And the latter, Tobias, was a deity touched individual who kind of tried to do what they wanted: and because most of the things they wanted to do just included menial tasks no one else wanted to do, no one really stopped them.

"You're at a disadvantage!" They called, wiggling their whole body as they suddenly lurched and bounded forward before turning on their heels and sprinting the opposite direction.

It was a few minutes of running across the ice before the two started to slow down. Tobias was letting out icy breaths, the cold tickling the air. Artemis shivered, the cold not doing too fell for her fire aspect.
"All is fair in war and training!" Mentioned Tobias, standing straight and regal for a few moments, the two lions having a stare-off. It was a moment before the lion had wiggled their toes, and lowered their head: digging claws into the ice with an impounding force, suddenly the brave look on Artemis' face changed into one of terror, as suddenly the ice started to crack and shatter. The ice changed to water right underneath the fire lion's feet.

"And that," Growled Tobias with a certain gusto as they melted the ice around them as well, plunking into the icy waters that were beneath the frozen lakes surface, "is how you sweep someone off their feet."
