First Encounter
I stared out the window, watching the beautiful scenery roll by, we were about to land. I couldn't wait to see the wild horses. The small helicopter whirred to a halt as we landed. I smiled, me and my two besties, Kate and Allie hopped out of the helicopter. The driver smiled at us. "Be back by 6:00, and use this walkie if you get lost." He said, handing me a walked talkie. We all nodded. The driver, Kate's father, had seen this untamed island about a month ago and had been preparing an expedition.

Kate looked at the map her dad gave her. "Me and Allie are gonna go to the river to see what we find there, ok?"I nodded, I wanted to see the horses. I went to a field like area and crouched down. I heard hoofsteps. Already? I expected it to take an hour. I watched the wild herd. Some different Bay and Tobiano varieties, then a certain Tobiano caught my eye. Sooty Bay. I was star struck by its beauty. I pulled out my WyldLyfe brand camera. I snapped a picture as the beauty turned towards me and pricked it's ears. It heard me, darnit. Now they'll all run away, but no. The mare began to step towards me. It only stopped as it was within a three yard distance and paused for about 3 seconds. I was frozen in awe.

Personality: Missy is a very shy mare, however she does like attention. After many years of being in the wild, Missy has trust issues, and does not know how to quite trust in human beings yet. However, she tries her hardest as she sees other horses who are happy with their rescue owners. She is a pleaser, and always wants to try and make others happy before herself. She is also very intelligent, and has already found out how to open stalls at the barn (that being the reason the agency had to change her type of lock). Finally, she is very good with other horses because she always is looking for new friends and is very reliable whenever she learns to trust.
