seed to sow- Michael W. Smith

Toco wasn't always bean crazy, he'd been a quiet and simple little thing with a polite manner.
it all began when he was just a young parra, starting in science class. Toco sat in the back of the classroom, as it was rather small and unusually packed full of kids. He sat upright, awaiting instructions from the teacher. she'd walked to then front of the room and announced " today, we'll be doing the bean experiment. " Toco was confused, what was this experiment? the teacher handed out bags, each with a damp paper towel and a small green seed like object. " That's a lima bean, " the teacher announced. Toco's eyes grew wide, almost like a cat when they get excited. Something had clicked in his mind, and he became immediately fascinated with the bean, no one knew why. They were to watch the bean's progress in growth, that was the experiment. at the end of the project, he'd become obsessed with the little pod, and the teacher requested that they be taken home or thrown away. He'd went around, asking other kids to give him their beans, which he ended up with the whole classroom's bag of beans. He smiled, almost as if he'd gone insane, and pressed him beak into the clutch of beans. He smiled again, and closed his eyes. To this day, he'd been collecting and buying and growing his own beans, painting pictures of beans, and even hanging the paintings around his household. He's been obsessed ever since that day, although he's never dared to even eat a bean, fearing it might hurt the precious capsule. He's even had his own storage space, up on top of his head for the beans. It's a can of lima beans, his most favorite type of bean. Many would think he's very peculiar, but he doesn't think anything of it. He adores his beans, and honestly, that's the only thing strange about Toco. He's just grown attached to the concept of ' beans ', that's all. It's not uncommon for him to go to the store and literally sweep bean cans off of the shelf into his cart until the shelves are barren either. He's got quite the liking for the magical little ' fruit ' . He can also be found in a group of friends and he will just casually chime in with, " so, you guys have any spare beans? " almost as if he doesn't know he said so. He's got many " bean " themed decor and clothing, even as a child school supplies. Bean folders, bean backpacks and lunchboxes, bean scarves, bean socks, bean stuffies, bean paintings, bean curtains and even a bean shaped bean bag. He's totally obsessed with the idea of " beans, " not daring the leave one pod behind. If he found that he'd dropped a bean from his head can, he'd pick it right back up and plop it back into his headgear. Overall, he's very sweet, and Toco wouldn't hurt a fly.

YuganaToco really enjoys spending time with Yugana, as he knows she's patient and won't yell or get frustrated with him. He can actually talk to her, without her laughing or making fun of him. She listens well, and often shares a few laughs with Toco, helping him gain a lil more self confidence, as he's very unsure most of the time. Yugana makes sure he knows he's cool, and that she cares for him and will listen.
SterlingToco admires Sterling greatly. He loves his hair, and loves his athletic ability, wishing he could have that too. Sterling enjoys his company of course, but Sterling tends to be the ' lone wolf ' and prefers to be alone, actually, so Toco is unsure how Sterling feels about him frankly. They do chat frequently, and Sterling has tried to teach him a bit of soccer, but Toco ends up sitting out and admiring his beans.
Charles Toco adores Charles. Honestly, Toco and Charles are quite close, they're both pretty clumsy and Toco thinks it's nice to know he's not the only one. Charles is very lovable, and Toco loves that about him, he's always willing to make Toco feel better with laughter, hugs or even offering him beans. Charles now has a cabinet with a shelf of beans for when Toco visits, as he'll know that Toco will want them. Charles and Toco are very close, almost best friends.
