Cynthia isn’t a mako you would want to approach unless you are an absolute science nerd. Even then, it would take quite a bit of effort to get her to really talk to you. When she does, though, she’s usually very blunt in what she says and will flat out tell you to leave her alone. Cyn is the type of mako who favors science and logic over creativity. Cyn prefers to stay inside and experiment things rather than go outside and hang out with others or go see a movie. Most makoatls don’t like to get near her usually because of her negative behavior and aspects on life.

Despite all of this, though, she does have a goofy side to her! She is a total science nerd who usually cracks some lame scientific puns that nobody would understand while working. She also is a very clumsy girl, which makes it even more dangerous to be in the lab with her since she is usually knocking over flasks and toxic chemicals as well as unidentified substances. Cyn is also very stubborn and refuses to put her long, frizzy hair up when working- even if it deals with fires or dangerous chemicals that may harm her. Cynthia may appear to be just an old grumpy lady, but she’s actually highly intelligent! She just pretends to act stupid so that way it doesn’t draw any “unnecessary” attention to herself. In the end, though, you shouldn’t judge this book by its cover.

Cynthia woke up to the sounds of her alarm going off. Groaning, she rolled out of her bed and lazily brushed her short hair a few times before giving up and letting it wildly stick out everywhere that it pleased to. Rolling her eyes, she grabbed her ID as well as some keys and made her way out the door. While putting her keys up in her pocket, she ran right smack into the door. “Ow!” She growled as she rubbed her head and opened the door up. “Stupid doors.” She muttered before walking out of the small apartment building.

While on her way to work, Cynthia made sure to give anybody who dared looked and judged her sloppy appearance the ugliest glare she could give. She passed by a television store which featured several screens, all which were playing a cartoon. Cynthia paused for a moment as she watched a girl hop on a unicorn and rode away into the sunset. “Pfft.” She chuckled darkly as she continued to walk. “Everybody knows that unicorns aren’t real. Probably some poor man came up with the idea and became famous or something.” She shrugged as her destination came into view.

It wasn’t the most appealing building, but it was certainly noticeable. The skyscraper was at first, a beautiful and clean white. Over the years, dirt and dust particles as well as germs had gotten onto the building and now gave it a more dusty gray color to it. Cynthia strode into the building and the familiar strong aroma of cleaning chemicals filled the air. It was very important to keep the main hallway clean since some of the experiments sometimes ended up being a disastrous mess that nobody wanted to clean. Grabbing her white laboratory coat, she quickly put it on and stuck her ID in her pocket before making her way down the long corridor to her room. Halfway down it, she nearly tripped over her overly big coat and stumbled right into the glass door.

Cynthia glared through the door before getting her card out and slid it over the panel before it automatically opened. She grinned happily before walking into what she called her home. The scientist walked over to the chemicals and notes that looked like chicken scratch. He quickly skimmed over them before remembering where she had left off at on her big project to cure blindness.

Quickly getting the frozen chemicals out, she carefully placed them over the burner and started to measure their rising temperatures. Cynthia quickly wrote down a few observations before mixing the five of them together. Suddenly, she heard a noise in the corner. She twirled around and knocked over a yellow substance into the mixture. Seeing how nothing was really there, she went back over to the now purplish solution. Carefully pouring the solution into a flask, she drank it.

Suddenly, her perfect vision was gone! Her eyes were now covered with hair that went halfway down her back. She brushed it out of her face and saw that there were some blurry white streaks in it, too. “Great.” She huffed. “More hair. Not only that, but I’m as blind as a bat!” Cynthia squinted.

“Well, I guess it’s time to go get a pair of glasses.” Cyn said as she pictured herself in a pair of nerdy glasses.

I was judging this in the car for the past hour and still not home so I apologize for not making this post pretty OTL

Caesaris is an incredibly classy woman and a retired actress. She used to act in old movies, often wearing dramatic outfits and playing as the damsel, the lady who’d walk into the saloon and have all eyes on her. Taking from this old job, style and sophistication are very important to her; and she is always sure to check herself twice in the mirror before going out. She spends much of her time checking to see if her outfit is on point, working her hair into a beautiful flowy style only to top it all off with skinny glasses that bring out her dark sclera. She aims to never disappoint, despite her old age; holding up her reputation for being the classiest around whenever she hits the town. However, this retired actress is no stuck-up, still having some of her old spunk and spark from her acting days. She enjoys the simple things just like any other, thinking a spot of tea better than expensive glass of wine, and a night with friends more entertaining than a fancy show. With her style, she makes for a spectacular grandmother to Thrasius. He has gotten most of punk rock attitude from her, as she takes from the many roles she played over the time of her acting career. Another quality she took from this was her pride in her scars, knowing her old age has caused white streaks in her hair and her fins to weaken; but she doesn’t seem to care.

When she isn’t catching up with old actor and directors she used to work with, Caesaris is a crystal therapist. She has a large collection of healing crystal that she puts with her old costume jewelry, making private appointment for the service at her own home. She enjoys the line of work, often helping starving artists or novice actors boost their moral with different stones, explaining their chakras and giving small stones to keep with them, so they can continue to practice on their own. She loves talking about these stones and crystals, and could talk for hours about how their differing colors, shapes and textures affect different areas and personalities. Around the house, she had placed different stone objects, as she believes in makes her house much more welcoming in certain rooms while increasing the urge to work harder in another. Around her own tail, hangs a Aqua Aura Crystal that she wears everywhere she goes. The way it ‘glows’ is produced through a special process in which the surface of the crystal quartz is bonded with vaporized, finely powdered pure gold. This results in a stunning brilliant blue with iridescent rainbow flashes. This color-enhanced crystal is effective in stimulating the throat chakra, enhancing her ability to communicate inner truth, and to express inner emotions in a positive way, boosting her already classy personality. Along with crystals, Caesaris also enjoys the healing powers of tea, owning several large jars filled with her favorite kinds. As part of her crystal therapy sessions, she ikes to enjoys tea with her customers beforehand, to help them relax and calm themselves so they are more willing to open their body and mind to different energies. Her acting career mainly consisted of old western movies, where cowboys would swoon at the sight of her poofy dress and feathered hat. Though she can’t deny that she misses it, she enjoys staying home and taking care of Thrasius whenever he comes over, teaching the ways of crystal and tea healing.
All in all, Caesaris is a super classy grandma.
