What does it love to lick and why?

Fabian her loves to lick tic-tacs. He loves the more
fruity kind because he loves fruit. He absolutely
loves the strawberry fields one. He loves the inviting
taste it has and even keeps a stash as a treat to
himself whenever he wants them.

secret but hey, people will find out sometime eh? No

He is a calm and rather formal goblin gator. He does have a sense of humor.
He is quiet though so if any other would like to strike a conversation with him
then they'd have to begin first as sometimes he'd have trouble speaking.
Not that he speaks another language but he's never really socialized at all.
Any free time he has is spent in the books to research so that if a topic like so
came up, he's prepared. He tends to prepare himself for anything so he won't
fail. He has a fear of failure so he like to at least get ready for the challenge.
He'll take any challenge that comes his way and try to over come it.

My fur bristled in the wind and I let out a soft sigh along with a smile.
I saw the humans with their family, the little girl playing on the grass as the parents
were sitting on a blanket, talking about things that were unknown to me.
I padded up to the child and she giggled, walking over and sitting in front of me,
her bright green eyes watching me curiously. I licked her nose and she burst with laughter.
After playing with her, I padded off. After ten minutes, I heard a scream.
I bolted out to her, seeing a dog baring his teeth at her, I raced forward.
I knocked the dog over, growling at it. The dog whimpered, running off with
it's tail between it's legs. The girl hugged me, crying into my fur.
She was safe with me. I'd never let her out of my sight.

I was looking for something different that wasn't something obvious you would lick. (Like a normal food/candy/etc.)

If there were more forms I would have given a RU but I did love the effort put into the other forms uwu
