I really like all these greying suggestions, I'll make her a sibling and make it a 24 hour impress me contest and then see if i'll make one or two more adopts with like, picture contests or something easy c:

actually i was thinking of making her (very light) two parents and putting them up for adoption? and her younger sibling could have just a teeny bit of gray?

but anyways yess, once i was about to post her i just thought 'her name has gotta be Seventeen' off of alessia cara's song, my favorite part is;

because she seems the type of mare who grew up fast, sick of being a foal and being told what to do, discouraged against being herself and acting out when she didn't want to do what she needed to, and since she's older she's kinda frozen now and suddenly weathered down because life came by so fast. i want her discipline to be an extremely competitive eventer that she's been off and on training. and i just got this idea in my head that my stable would be going near bankrupt and they're specifically depending on Seventeen to win and compete as best as she can.

Omg gator that is so fab. I mean...wow...what a great story idea! You really really have to keep her with a headcanon like that ♥ How incredible! The song and your meaning behind her name, and the backstory is so neat. I mean, that happens to a lot . You don't want to face these responsibilities and then Boom! You have to. No choice. And it's not fun anymore. It's hard. I can now totally see this mare as that, and man oh man how awesome.
