I padded through the field, walking past a bush with small, pink flowers.
I turned, walking back to the bush and moved my muzzle to the closest one,
I took in a deep breath, the smell was beautiful. I heard the crunching of leaves beneath
small feet, and then, a laboured coughing. I looked to the other side, seeing a small,
pale girl with dark brown hair. A flower fell on my head, getting stuck in my fur.
I sniffed the air as the girl walked closer to me, I smelt smoke... smoke and honey,
she has cancer? I thought as the girl stuck her hand out to me, cooing happily.
"Hey girl..." she said as I sniffed her hand. She giggled, coughing again slightly.
I licked her hand and she smiled, walking towards her home and hoping I would follow.
And I did, "I'm calling you Hana." she said, I tilted my head, "it means Flower." she added,
pulling the cherry blossom out of my hair with a soft giggle.
