Hazard Cats are felines with long limbs and robotic parts. Their tails are made of metal with some form of energy in the center that holds it together. Glass screens are installed into their chests that show the cats' health in the form of a heartbeat, glowing orb, or even something else. The color of the glow on the screen matches their eyes, which typically have hollowed pupils. Some cats have static on their screens, but beware. Those cats are as dangerous as they are rare. Grates are positioned on each of the cats' sides and aid in breathing. Depending on the cat, steam, mist, or liquid can come from these grates. They have three eyes, but the one in the center is almost always taped down or covered with a band-aid. This is done due to the hidden and sometimes dangerous powers that the third eye contains. Large eyes allow them to see in extremely low levels of light and their big ears help them hear potential prey miles away. Thanks to their strong legs, Hazard cats can reach speeds up to fifty miles per hour and leap near ten feet up.

Opt is in fact, a rather optimistic Hazard, in spite of his appearance and the hate it gets him. He looks on the bright side of almost everything, and is very long-fused. He says that he's never lonely with his wisps to keep him company, but sometimes he longs for interaction with other Hazards. He knows there are good Hazards out there, he just hasn't found any yet. That fact has almost become a mantra to him, something he thinks every morning before getting up, and every evening before he goes to bed. He often daydreams about other friendly hazards, but of he were to meet one in real life, he would avoid them.

Third eye power:
Opt's third eye power is bringing inanimate objects to life for indefinite amounts of time, without any strain on himself whatsoever. The only restriction is that the newly living creatures have to stay close to him. He uses this power most commonly on the smoke he breathes, thus the wisps.

Where he lives:
Opt lives on a mountain, in the forseted region in the winter, and in the colder treeless region in the summer, with occasional forages to the tree region for food and supplies.

The wisps:
The wisps are made by Opt, to keep him company. They live indefinitely, and have their own unique personalities and thoughts that they communicate through thoughtspeak and motions. Occasionally, a wisp will get tired of living and simply float away to die.

His fin:
Opt's fin shows the future of any creature on earth, usually only for a few seconds at a time. The prediction can be really accurate, or totally vauge, and the art quality varies accordingly.

'I hear it's corrupt. I'm not sure I want to live in a place like that, so I just stay here on this mountain. Only the bravest Hazards come up here, and most of them miss me by a mile.'

'Some Hazards and humans come up here to discover the 'wonders of nature'. I don't get it. I mean, it's green, and that could be considered good. But there are wild animals and stinging bees and cold and heat... I'm not complaining, but I don't know how anyone could survive without training.'

It all started when I learned to walk. You see, my legs took a while to get used to. I wasn't born to a mom and dad, but taken before I was born and... edited. It didn't really bother me. I was always like this, ever since I was born. I was raised in a lab, but that was normal too. The white coat humans were nice, but the other Hazards stared at me suspisiously. I was okay with that. I reasoned that if there were nice humans, there'd be nice Hazards eventually. Anyway, as soon as I mastered walking, some white coat (he was a young one) decided that it would be better if I went to 'Live free in the wild'. So I'm here.'
Why are the screen and gate broken:
'Oh, that. Birth defects. My screen stopped growing before I did, and it was torn apart and shattered. I'm not sure about the gate, but it was keeping me awake at night with it's random on/off thing, so I taped it shut.'

I am known as Nocttis and I am a male, what else do you want to know?

Nocttis is generally a shy individual, and trys to hide it by acting 'cool'. In his attempts if acting cool, he gives off what may seem like a rebellous aura.
In all reality...he is just scared he will loose this he holds dear if he gets too close to someone. he knows he is different, and kinda tries to fit in, but when he talks, it unnerves him because of the embers that leave his mouth.

"if you ask me what life is about, I could not answer because there are so many different answers that could be given."

"what are you speaking of? What are these friends? Care to elaborate?"

Elaborating on his personality a bit, when he is trying to act cool, he can easily get embarrassed and begin to stutter. When acting cool, he does things from playing video games (his two extra arms gitime.im an advantage), to just simply hanging out with what he considers well-known strangers.
he doesn't understand what friends are, all he has comprehended from books and games are people you like to be around. he asks many questions on these so call 'friends'.
Nervous ,shy, or just anything, he has a few habits that may show what he is feeling sometimes.
When he is feeling shy or embarrassed ,he will flick the top of his tail, and his little 'spirits' swirl at a high speed around him. He will also sometimes paw at the ground.
When he is just generally happy, his tail will wave back and forth.

He stands at 4'8", a bit taller than a normal hazard, due to his unique traits. He is very lithe, and can run for a fairly long period of time. He sometimes races his raven, and typically ends up loosing unless raven is tired. He is a Virgo, and was born on September 25th. He considers it just a day, and not a special day. He typically forgets about it.
His weight is unknown, and he doesn't think it is an important factor.
His favorite day of the year is Halloween.


when he was young, he used to be a plain grey and purple hazard cat, with no extra eyes,horns,fins, or arms. he was a very happy young hazard who didn't understand the harsh reality of life. he had two very sickly siblings, one male one female. his mother never wanted him around them in fear he would hurt them. he learned to deal with it, till a sickness took his sister's life away. his mother then kept he even further away from his brother after that, because his brother also became sick. after his brother passed as well, nocttis would stare off into the distance, and not always hear what his mother would tell him.
he caught the sickness as well a month later, and he ran away, not wanting to get his mother sick as well. he ended up being taken it and treated from the sickness, but he did not react the best way to the medicine he was given. as he grew, the medicine took a negative effect on him and that's how he had gotten two leg,horns,extra eyes, and fins.
he didn't care though. he was barely into his teen stage when the 'mutations' has fully grown. once again, he ran away.
he later began to travel and perfect his third eye power. he was overjoyed when he was able to summon a raven and talk to it telepathically. the raven often helped him not get lost and became very important to him.
later, he found out he could form the wisps that followed him into a sword, and was made to reap those with bad intents. he found it quite fascinating, being able to help other.
e found a serene spot in a forest and took shelter there for a few weeks, then moved on. he found a city, and decided maybe he could check it out. every loud sound caused him to flinch and pin his eyes down trying to muffle the sounds. he still flinches, but has become a bit more used to it.

what surprises many people is the fact that Nocttis gets along best with others with hyper personalities. when he speaks to a quiet person, it seems like the room is almost silent. the silence annoys him greatly, and makes him extremely uncomfortable. this is because where he grew up, it was silent most of the time.
his left eye will begin to twitch when it is silent or he is greatly annoyed.

Nocttis is can move the wisps in a pattern and combine them to make a sword. The sword is almost bigger than him,maybe bigger depending on how you look at him when he has it.
His 'third eye' power can cause a raven to seemingly form out of the shadows. The raven does not have a name, but refers to Nocttis as his 'summoner', and Nocttis just refers to him as Raven. the raven can speak to him telepathically, and is very happy to be around nocttis. the raven keeps a cool demeanor, even around threats, and will even help nocttis by distracting the one he is currently trying to get away from or rid their bad spirit from the world.

Nocttis's so called 'occupation' is considered a reaper. Not the death kind of reaper though. He only goes after those who have committed a terrible crime and it is their time to go. This is another reason he does not want to get close to people. He fears that they will be scared and run away. he keeps his head down in public due to this.

Nocttis has multiple fears, which include silence, heights, loud noises, and the ocean.
His fear of silence originated from when he grew up, and it unnerves him. He will begin scratching at the ground when it is silent.

as a spark, his mother loved the peace and quiet, and it was rarely ever loud. silence reminds him too ,much of the sickness his family has gotten.

His fear of heights just came upon him when he looked over the edge of a pier and almost fell.

nocttis sighed, watching raven fly in circles around his head. he reached up to swat at him, but he misplace his paw and he came extremely close to falling off as he slid slightly.

His fear of loud noises overcame him when he first entered a large city and the sounds of cars, and other loud noises disturbed him.

Walking through the city, he went to cross the street, and a car came barreling towards him, its lights flashing and the driver was honking. at the last second, nocttis was able to jump out of the way.

Lastly, his fear of the ocean came from one time when he was staring at the ocean, and fell into the water, and almost drowned.

Nocttis was calmly walking by the edge of a cliff, looking over the expansive water before him. he blinked and took a step , and the rock crumbled under him and he went sliding into the water.

He doesn't mind hanging around hikaru, due to the fact she adjusted her personality to fit the people around her. Hikaru makes sure she doesn't let an awkward silence settle over them when she is speaking to Nocttis, and Nocttis appreciates it very much, and considers her a almost a friend, but a well known stranger you may say.

Nocttis is not a big fan of Mochi, but deals with him none-the-less. This is because, when nocttis first met mochi, mochi didn't speak, and just stared at the ground, stuttering to introduce himself. When he saw hikaru and mochi and that they knew each other, nocttis has seen how hikaru and mochi act around each other, and it fascinates him to no end. This is because he has never really seen many others acting like such good friends. He has even cracked a smile while watching them.

Nocttis absolutely hates being around itzal. Itzal is always so quiet and whispering to what seems like his butterfly, and that makes nocttis very, very uncomfortable. What makes him uncomfortable is the the silence that seems to follow Itzal. Nocttis will visibly squirm when Itzal is around, trying to make at least a little bit of sound.

What they think of Nocttis:
Hikaru finds him quite interesting and will try and poke on his many eyes, but fail every time due to his evasiveness. His differences from others cause her to want to be around him and find out more about him.

"Nocttis is quite different, its really cool"

Mochi really doesn't know how to act around Nocttis. He will try and break silence that envelops all their conversations, but always fails.

"Nocttis confuses me, sometimes he will be very shy, but otherwise he will act cool"

Itzal seems iffy around Nocttis. He does like the silence, but now the way Nocttis looks uneasy. It confuses him.
