Name: Abir
Biography:
The grasslands Abir once called home were vast and filled with the lushest plants to snack on and the clearest streams to drink from. He was born to a small herd who were a quiet and laid-back group. Abir's mother was one of the wisest oxiries amongst them and was highly respected for her foresight and experience. His father was a calm and focused buck who led the herd with fairness and was just in his decisions.
Because of the few calves in the herd, Abir often ended up playing by himself, though he didn't mind being alone. It gave him the opportunity to admire and learn about his surroundings without anybody else interrupting him. Abir was a very observant and intelligent colt, traits that he inherited from his parents. He was always filled with unanswered questions, always longing to understand why or how things happened. Why was the sky blue? Why does it rain? Where do calves come from? Whenever he asked his herdmates, they would simply shrug off the inquisitive calf and tell Abir to stop poking around in matters that didn't concern him. His mother and father were often too busy to address his questions, leaving it to him to figure out the answers.
Abir's life in the grasslands was one of the most peaceful times of his life, and until this day he still looks back on those moments fondly.
The tranquil period unfortunately could not last forever. A famine was spreading throughout the land, plaguing the inhabitants with empty bellies and sapping away their energy. Abir's little herd were no exception.
Forced to journey away from their beloved home, spirits were low and hunger was a relentless cause for despair.
