Their homeland: With a wolf pack in Epping Forest, near London.
Story/art: A lone puppy walked through the snow, hungry, tired and alone. He had been walking for more than a week now, and he didn't seem to find anything that would be able to let him rest, at least for one night. The puppy could no longer continue, and fell face first into the snow, whimpering. He lay there, motionless and too tired to move. He decided to stay there, and rest for a bit, although, it was a possibility he would no longer to see the sunrise tomorrow...
He then felt warm, too warm to be sleeping on the snow. He then realised, he wasn't lying in the cold snow, but in a twig, leaf and hay bed. He felt a warm body besides him, and curled against it. He yawned and stayed there, drifting off to sleep. In the distance he heard "What a cute little baby. I wonder what he was doing out there in the snow, all alone.". He felt as if he knew that voice, but then, he had thought he had known a lot of voices he actually didn't know. So, he just decided to go to sleep there, in the warm and safe place.
He woke up to the smell of food. He yawned and slowly opened his eyes, looking around the den in which he was sleeping. He saw many bed's made out of leaves, twigs and hay, and they were all full of mother wolves caring for their newborns and pups. He still felt the warm body besides him and felt a soft tongue lick his little head, and heard the same voice as the night before say "Good morning little sleeping beauty". He looked up at the head looming over him, and his eyes went wide open, for the female wolf was the most beautiful one he had ever seen.
The female wolf had brought over some fresh kill for him, and he gobbled it up, thinking 'Finally! I can eat some food now!'. When he finished, he licked his lips and went to look around the pack resting place, so see where he was, and to get to know it. He walked out of the nursery den, and started to pad around, looking at all the wolves, running about, hunting, playing, eating waking up. He saw another den and went over to it, and stuck in his head. This was the healer's den, and he saw an old wolf taking care of the wound of another wolf, who had gotten injured when hunting.
He then went off to find the warriors den, and found it easily, for it was the biggest den in the place. He went inside, and quickly left, for it was the most disastrous den. Every single wolf was running about, stepping on the sleeping one's, making a lot of noise, and destroying their beds. He decided to visit the alpha's den instead of this one, and went off.
He quickly found it, for it was the one at the highest altitude. He climbed towards it and just poked in his head. He was amazed at how neatly and cozy this den was. He saw the alpha waking up, yawning and lying there. She then spotted the little cub looking at her. She smiled and said "Come over". He padded over to her, and sat down in front of her, feeling small, for the alpha was the biggest female wolf he had ever seen. He kind of recognised her, and then the realisation sprang up in his head: it was the female wolf that had taken care of him while he was sleeping! She then started to talk "What is your name, young one?". He quickly looked over at her and answered "My name is Tora". She nodded "Well, then, Tiora, would you like to tell me why you were wondering about the woods, on a cold winter's night?"
He nodded and explained to her how his parent's had died and had left him alone. He had to leave their den to look for a new place to live, but he hadn't found one, and had been walking for days now. He then told her how he fell on the snow, and woke up at the nursery den, and explored her pack.
She smiled at hearing his tory and suggested "Tora, how would you like to join our pack? We could teach you how to hunt, heal, and eventually, we could also teach you how to become a good and caring alpha, but, that would eventually come, in time." His eyes lit up and he nodded, to excited to say anything.
The next day, his training began. Since he was pretty old now, he didn't need to stay in the nursery den to grow up. His mentor was the alpha, whose name was Frost, for her pelt was as white as frost. She first taught him the basics of living in a pack. She also taught him the positions of stalking prey, and also how to do it, for it was crucial, and it would determine the outcome of getting fresh kill, or not getting any at all. He was a quick learner, and eventually was able to go out hunting with his mentor, and catching some rabbits, moles, mice and many other little critters. He was proud of himself, for he had finally found a place where he belonged, and has also found a mentor who took care of him.
But one day, something terrible happened. An enemy pack attacked the pack, destroying everything, and killing everyone in sight. He was shocked at first, but when he saw someone attacking Frost, he overcame his fear and went over to help her, jumping on top of the attacker, biting his ear, neck and muzzle. Eventually the enemy pack fled, for the pack had stood its ground and defended themselves.
The pack thanked Tora for saving the alpha, and Tora knew this was the place where he belonged.

Art above by me Personality:Tora is a carefree and reckless little mako pup, and even though he sometimes gets into fights with his pack mates, he is a fiercely loyal and protective friend. He is willing to give up his life for his friends, regardless of how futile it might seem. Tora has a very straightforward mind, and his solution to many problems involves a bit of violence, or verbal violence or physical. Tora does not believe in vengeance, and when someone approaches his with obvious hostility, Tora acts as if no one really said anything bad to him, but rather kind of takes it as a compliment. But, if someone ever tries to insult his pack mates or the pack itself, he may react in an aggressive way, defending his pack's pride.
He continuously tries to show his pack mates his strength to protect the pack, even if she is only a little pup, 7 moons old. He continuously also likes to go out to hunt alone, and sometimes when he has too much fresh kill, he is forced to leave behind all which he cannot carry.
He always gets annoyed by the little puppies, and tries to avoid them whenever he can, but, sometimes he has o babysit them, and he just gets so annoyed by that, that he goes to sleep while babysitting them.
When there is nothing to do, he gets bored and goes out for a walk. When he finds water, he swims in it to relax a bit.
