Username: wandzie.
Name: Oakely Spencer-Jones.
Gender: Genderfluid - Born male and mostly goes by male, but sometimes this goofy boy likes being a goofy girl.
Cat's name & why: Having lived alone most of his life, in his little cottage in the middle of nowhere, Oakely needed company. He was desperate to make friends, but it was hard when you were isolated from society. He sometimes preferred being in a warm, cosy place away from all the business, but still wanted to meet people. Of course, his excitable and very varied personality was always weird to newcomers, but they soon got used to the soft little goofball he was.
After his mother passed away, the cottage was left to him. He loves it with all his heart, it has memories everywhere of his childhood, and it's better than nothing. One day, when Oakely was in his little corner shop, down the hill to a small village near his cottage, he spotted a skinny little ginger cat outside his door. No customers were in, so he obviously had to go talk to the kitty! Oakely bounded out from the counter and bent down next to the cat. "Hello!" He stroked it's head, and tickled it's tummy with his soft hands. "I'm Oakely... What's your name?" Oakely expertly picked up the cat, and cradled it in his arms. "Oh you're a scruffy pussy cat, aren't you?" He giggled to himself, and realised that this cat couldn't be anyone's. There was only 200 people in the village, and the only known cats were about 6 of them. The other cities were miles away. "Hey, ya lil homeless boy, what's to say you come back to the cottage with me? It's cosy and has a fire! And if someone looks for you, I'll hand you straight over." Oakely rubbed his nose in the cats face with a big lopsided grin and started bounding home.
Of course, days and even weeks passed, and no one wanted the poor cat. Oakely hadn't really thought that he'd end up keeping the him, but was delighted anyway. He decided to call him "Goofball" after his what his mum used to call him as a child. But the cat tends to go by "Goofy."
The two are inseparable, when Oakley is working, Goofy comes too, and usual sleeps on the counter to say Hi to the customers. At home, Oakley tends to constantly be talking to Goofy, and the two of them are basically goofballs together.
