The origin of this particular species is unknown. It is guess that it was the iqena who sparked the mythos of unicorns, pegasus, kirin, and hundreds more that have become legend. Thousands of years of speculation and wonder have led to the constant search of this elusive species.

Iqena are commonly friendly towards any creature of any world. Their peaceful souls only adding to the mystery of their vast variations. Even the youngest of iqena are clueless to their biological origin. Some say that they are born from the mind, much like the goddess Athena.

Jordan's domain is that of a small scale traditional Japanese garden.It's previous owner and origins in itself prove to be a mystery nearly unsolveable to him. But in itself, this doesn't matter an awful lot to Jordan for he's simply thankful to have found it isolated away from that of the bustling city.
From time to time again, Jordan is fascinated by the beings that surround them, and often keep an eye on them from afar, not wanting to cause disruptions in their lifestyles.
Jordan is known to be like his domain, quiet and secretive. While approched by other Iqenas, he doesn't speak much about himself, nor his home, but can do sonewhat well at keeping a steady conversation with them, making little attempts to start petty arguments for a laugh or the likes.
Whenever Jordan isn't socializing or observing, he can be found resting in silence about the garden. Whether it be laying down on the edge of the koi pond, taking a nap beside the rushing waters of the waterfall, adoring the scent of the sakura tree, or looking up at the stars while drifting off to dreams he won't remember when he wakes.To him it'll always be the perfect resort to recover from slip-ups or crossing paths with iqenas that aren't the friendly type. And thanks to this it'll forever hold great meaning to him.
Yet just as quietly as his koi may swim, he hopes to find someone he can trust enough to share his homeland with.

A rather small, secluded field of cherry blossom trees, on the edge of small river.



Friendly;;
Kaimu's unending friendliness borders closely on the edge of over-friendly. This iqena greatly enjoys company, though his secluded area rarely provides him with chances for it. So he takes what he can get, and is often found pestering any other being that crosses his path. Due to periods between interaction, he sometimes forgets common courtesy, and just jumps right in. This can put off many others, due to his habit of treating everyone like they've always been best buds.
Charismatic;;
Even when time rusts his social skills, Kaimu has a magnetic charisma about him.
Lonesome;;
It's been so long that he's sat, waiting for company, in that cherry blossom field, that this iqena cannot even remember why he would choose such a secluded place to live. He feels like he's forgotten something, something important, but even without that odd feeling, he still cannot seem to pry himself away from his cherry blossoms. That doesn't make him any less lonely, mind you. This iqena yearns for companionship, but is also unused to the concept of having a real friend. He's met travelers, and chatted with acquaintances, but never has he had a real friend.
Excitable;;
If you've ever seen Kaimu when he sees a potential conversation-partner, you'd know this to be true. He can be rather overbearing, often leaping out of a cherry blossom tree to give some poor soul a heart-attack, then proceeding to maul the fella with about a thousand questions.
Childish;;
Sometimes Kaimu can act very childish, sometimes oblivious, while others, immature. Some things fly right over his head, while others can easily become innuendo.
Confident;;
Kaimu is not afraid to say what's on his mind, and not ashamed of being himself.
Curious;;
This iqena would be rich if he had a penny for every question he asks, because he asks a lot of questions.
