Phlegon does not know what creature left these here, but she can spend hours and hours gazing at the ancient bones, imagining a time far before DAM's.
Dusk
Dusk in the badlands is Phlegon's favourite time. She loves nothing more than to clamber atop a hoodoo to watch the sun set.
Dried river
The dried river is a place where Phlegon spends hours, scouring for old bones and simply galloping along the white clay beds, enjoying the feel of the water-smoothed stone upon her hooves.

Mira loves The Great Sand Dunes, especially during the springtime. She loves when Medano Creek is running so she can play in the sand and the water with the humans who visit.
She also enjoys visiting archeological sites becuase of her curiosity.

Desert Canyons - She loves the peaceful quiet they provide when she wants time away from the herd. They provide a welcome relief from the hot desert sun and she often wanders though them making up stories of how they were created.

Watering Hole Waterfall - The waterfall doesn't always flow, but after a heavy rain it does for a while. It's one of her favorite places to just stand and watch the water, lost in thought, or swim if she's feeling adventurous.

Giant Dunes at Night - She loves to race to the top of the tallest dune she can find and watch the sunset, then the sky as the stars come out. On really clear nights, she can just make out the lights of the human cities and often wonders what they're like.

-snip- The horses are said to reside in oasis' which are succulent in fresh water and food and are most times forested. -snip-

Cabaret loves to wander amongst the oasis trees in his more calm artistic moods; the light filtering into the forest is one of his favorite sights.



In his more outgoing artistic moods, Cabaret heads to an abandoned amphitheater that he found as a foal. The discovery of the amphitheater had awakened in him a desire to perform, so every time he is there, Cabaret pretends to playing to an enthusiastic audience.







When Cabaret needs an escape from the desert sun, he locates a cave to go into. Besides using the cave as a shelter, Cabaret is always intrigued by the possibilities of what he could find in a cave.

Lake Tahoe, California. - what's not to love? The crystal clear water is never ending fun during the hot summer months, and the beautiful mountains surround and protect it, like silent guardians from Mother Nature.

Maroon Bells, Colorado. - another mountain and lake combo, she really adores mountains and lakes. Always so peaceful and the sheer size of mountains always strikes her as amazing.

Arches National Park, Utah. - more like home than the other two, she really enjoys the bright orange sand between her hooves and the natural stone arches are fun to seek out and gaze at.

this was so fun, because i've personally been to these places , lived in Tahoe, and it's really just awe inspiring how beautiful nature is.
