drawing her is just plain fun,
and I could get used to it.

A generally masculine name, Satoru means "to know" or "to understand." In fact, even her
nickname, Tooru, is supposed to be a boy name...
Iwata is a Japanese surname meaning 'stony rice paddy'.

She's mainly obsessed with Nintendo games that don't require a lot of thinking--namely the new shooter, "Splatoon." She colors her hair to match her favorite in-game ink varieties. She assumes that the phrases in this game are cool, so she's always using the word "fresh." She's also often heard humming obnoxiously loudly to the music on the different levels.
Adding on to that, her manner of speech resembles that of a text message. She will often say "lol" instead of actually laughing, which gets on the nerves of some. She's also rather interested in "dank memes," and will usually going around repeating them to those that she thinks would respect that sort of humor.
Lastly, she's very self-conscious and always thinks that she's getting fat. Though this is impossible, she seems to have accustomed herself to real human life, and believes that it's possible. Satoru had the life of an average teenager that spent way too much time online.
She had a very little number of friends and even less talent, but that didn't
bother her. She had been a fan of Nintendo then, even more than she does
now. She had no job, but somehow miraculously managed to support herself.
She was about fifteen when she was transformed into a doll, but she couldn't
have been more willing. She was convinced that the dolls would give her a
new start in life, but more importantly, it would be more fun. No work, all
play. It seemed like a good life to her.
a brief history of Nintendo's past life:
Nintendo had been a hair bow for a young rich girl. Xe was used
by the girl for the longest time--until one fateful day. The girl had
gone outside to visit her neighbors, even after her parents had told her
she couldn't because of the storm. She, not believing her parents, was
rushing over to visit when the wind blew her ribbon away. The girl, too
stressed to notice, took no notice of her hairband's disappearance.
