Haiku has been fully blind in her left eye since birth, and often has trouble moving around things on her left side. Habiki has learned to walk on Haiku's blind side, and she taps when Haiku gets close to something or is about to run into a barrier or obstacle. They get along very well, and can be seen traipsing around the paddock, or eating a tasty snack together.

Nimbus has a companion that is a Tahr named Tessa ( http://www.zooborns.com/zooborns/2010/02/whats-a-tahr.html ). The two have known each other since birth and they get along very well. Tessa enjoys sneaking into the pasture with Nimbus every afternoon to play. Tessa has been caught by Nimbus's owners multiple times and has been "thrown out" of the farm...but she always comes back.
