i'd call this gorgeous, handsome specimen of a tolter Kingsly! In
the show ring, he would be referred to as Brunblakk's Strongest.

and what is his gender?
quite obviously my Kingsly here is a strong, intelligent, stallion!

and his halter design is?
Kingsly's halter is pure white with small, eye-coloured circles on
all of the straps. each has a smaller, darker circle inside. clasps
are a very pale silver, and it has a grey seagull feather dangling.

Standing at 14.1hh, Rubin is not a full Icelandic Pony. Yes, due to his unusual mane, this stallion is actually a fjord cross icelandic.


He has a black headcollar with silver buckles. Nothing facing because he'll get it destroyed!


He is currently 5 years old and can be ridden but is very green.



From a young age, Rubin had always been a rebel. He was unpredictable and hardly tamed. He would have to be lead everywhere in a bridle because he would just rear for no good reason. Rubin had to be handled by the barn owner and the senior stable hands. I’m here to tell you the story of Rubin discovering the one thing that truly made him happy. Music.
One thing that not many people knew about Rubin that he was depressed. Not in the human kind of way but in the way that if he felt upset or lonely, like a gaping hole in his heart, he would just cause trouble. He ended up like this because he was separated from his dam at a young age and was a serious condition and was isolated until he was one and a half until he was bought by the Barn Owner of The Twilight Circus. He had no name, breeding certificate, registry or passport. He was the foal nobody knew about and he was angry at that. Why was he the one who no-one knew about and avoided, was it his unusual colouring and mane? Obviously, he was weaned at such a young age due to the fact he was different from his mother. He did not know love or compassion until he was one and a half. He was quiet and mysterious. He wouldn’t communicate with the other horses and not because he was shy but because he was angry at them. He envied their luck at a perfect life from foaling and they knew their parents and he didn’t. He was bad tempered, aggressive and strong. He didn’t show any trust in the humans but he was grateful of their care. He did not know how to.
When he was two, his hard outer shell had softened and he started to accept new feelings and other horses and humans caring for him. He would start to show that he was grateful and that he enjoyed their company. Unfortunately, that didn’t last as he was very sensitive and he did not enjoy their humour. He isolated himself and became quiet again. He loved living at the stables because it was the best care he had ever had but he couldn’t click with the other horses. Poor Rubin did not have the best start at life. The Twilight Circus barn owner was notorious for playing music through some speakers he had installed around the place. You may think he had classical playing through them… you are incorrect. He would play rock music. These speakers got installed when Rubin was two and a half. The first album that was played on it was named From Under The Cork Tree by a band going by the name of Fall Out Boy. That’s when Rubin’s life changed forever. It made him happy and filled the gaping hole he felt in his heart and he felt truly whole for once. At the time the album was new and the barn owner had it on repeat for about three weeks. Rubin’s mood drastically changed and he was perky and sweet. There was no sign of the quiet and angry colt from a few days ago. Rubin still had his rebel streak but now he didn’t do it maliciously as he did previously. The barn owner had the vet out to check what was wrong with the colt but the vet was an intelligent woman and she knew that it seemed to be the music that improved Rubin’s behaviour. He wasn’t dangerous anymore, he was just quirky and cheeky. His eyes were brighter and he wasn’t as listless. He came to accept that he was a mystery but he grasped that and changed it into a good thing that was to be proud of. It really changed his outlook on life. He started to make friends and the others started to become fond of the colt. His favourite song is ‘Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner’ because the lyrics fit him so well.

The colt started to rejuvenate and realised the meaning of his life.
He was relived he wasn’t the only one who felt like a mistake.
