AHHH I remember seeing this babe on dA!
Username: Three Tailed Fox (gingisune on dA)
Name: Mae'lohi (Hawaiian - "slowly fading")
Gender: Female
Personality: Reckless, stubborn, driven, quick to anger, competitive
History(Childhood - Teenager - Adult):
As a youth, Lohi was the outgoing child, the one ignoring all common sense in favour of fun. She often wandered off without permission to explore the world on her own, thinking of course that she could do or handle anything. As a result, she ended up with a lot of scrapes and bruises, stings and bites, thorns and ticks, and the occasional broken bone. Of course, she never minded the injuries, or the reprimands that resulted from her excursions. To Lohi, it was all worth it, because she got to learn about how things worked without having to listen to a boring lecture.
In her adolescence, Lohi grew ever more reckless. She traveled farther, was gone for longer periods of time, and made bigger (and more dangerous) mistakes. She learned the hard way which creatures she met weren't safe to challenge (and why), and often did so over and over again regardless. Lohi grew into a competitive nature, pitting herself against anyone she met, in any sort of contest: strength, intelligence, agility. She had an intense need to become the best at everything that she did, without fully understanding why. Mae'lohi would spend days seeking out the most renowned creatures in the land, exchanging favours with them in order to be allowed to train under them and better herself as much as possible.
Upon reaching adulthood, Mae'lohi has not changed much -- she is still reckless and competitive to a fault, and if anything, more so. She still regularly pushes herself past her breaking point and has lasting injuries to show for it. The difference is that she's becoming cynical, finding little challenge in the other kias she's met (there's only so many times you can wrestle the same kia to the ground before it gets boring). When given the choice, Mae was already looking for some new project to focus on, so she gladly accepted the task of stealing the feathers. She felt fully confident that she would be able to steal them with ease... after some practice on easier targets, of course. As she grew, her attitude shifted from just seeking out and enjoying a friendly competition, to disposing of her morals almost entirely and putting herself and her own needs on the highest pedestal. There was no one in her life who had gotten her to where she was, as far as she was concerned, so she felt she owed nothing to anyone - except, perhaps, the mystical power-hungry man, whose interests just happened to align with her own for the time being.
(Regarding the other sibling -- Mae would play with them a lot as a child, but as they aged, she'd distance herself more and more, until they were more or less estranged. My idea is that if the other sibling also wanted to help the man, then Lohi would work with them, under the guise of sharing power, with the intent of keeping it all herself. However, I would like to work out plots after that point, because she could go one of two ways, depending -- she could grow closer to her sibling in the adventure, which I'd prefer, or she could keep going along her selfish path and try to run off with the feathers, if they find them.)
Art (Min 2 pieces): Coming soon!
