Welcome to the Xholi nursery.
Here your bonding Xholis can meet with the Healer or Shaman of their pack.

Most bonding relationships are platonic.
In most cases, two very close friends will choose to create and take care of a pup together.
However, in more rare cases, Xholis may have more romantic relationships when bonding.

Gems are created by two emotionally intimate Xholis concentrating their inner core magic.
The two Xholis will begin emitting energy in the form of radiant sparkles.
When their energies collide, a clear, raw gem forms.

During the bonding process the two Xholis share their favorite memory together.
This strengthens the bond magic and helps guide their energies to combine.
The more intimate the memory, the stronger the bond.

The Shaman or Healer will turn the gems into a living pup.
The Shaman/Healer infuses the gems with special magic before placing them into a small den.
It is customary for the parents to gather flowers to cover the gems with.

Clans have unique flowers that grow in their territories, each has a meaning associated with it.
Prospective parents choose a single flower type to convey a wish for their pup.

The transformation process takes about a day to complete.
The parents will come back the next day to find a sleeping pup nestled in the dry flowers.
Bonding generally produces a single pup, but occasionally two may be born.
When pups are first born, their gems are clear. Color sets in after a few days.

Certain types of bonding are against Xholi customs.
It is impossible for a Dawn Xholi to bond with a Dusk Xholi.
It is possible, but frowned upon, for Xholis from two different packs (but the same clan) to bond.
To get cross-pack bonding accepted, you must thoroughly develop the Xholis' relationship in the RP forum.
If you are not a roleplayer, there will be special items to allow this during events.

Bonding cannot occur more frequently than once a month.
There is no limit to the total number of offspring a Xholi can produce.
There is currently no regulation for switching bond-mates.
