Tall, lean frame, round ears, and bright eyes, Xholis are diurnal, hierarchal, and intelligent species that wield the forces of nature. Xholis are social animals that can be recognized into 2 different clans. The ones that hunt at dusk, and those that hunt at dawn. Their pelt reflects their environment as the Dusk hunters tend to have darker palette while the Dawn hunters are significantly lighter. Between those two clans, the species are once again split into more diverse and specialized packs. Fire, Earth and Water are the most common forces of nature that each Xholi wields. The gem they are born with determines their attribute, which is effected by the parent's gems. Every Xholi is given a role befitting their status in the pack, and the leader of the each pack is expected to keep the peace.

Explanation: Though born in the Maji pack with water powers, Reginald was very envious of the Moto pack. He knew that his markings looked like fire, and he felt that he was meant to be with the Moto. He attempted to lie to everyone and say that he had fire powers and should go to Moto, but no one ever listened. Reginald did all he could to transfer, but even he could not lie about his true self. To this day, he hopes that one day, he could join the Moto pack, but he knows that it is not in his future to join them.

Explanation: Nova had gone on a solo scouting mission, planning on finding something useful for the pack since previous scouting trips with others hadn't turned up with much. However, while she was out, she was solely focused on finding something new or catching a trespassing Xholi that she completely missed it. The faint smell of smoke in the air as a wildfire combed through the edge of the territory.
It wasn't until she was circling back that she heard the chaos by the main camp and she rushed over to help preventthe further spread of the fire. And in the aftermath she recalled that she had caught the tinge of gray in the sky and must of ash and smoke while she was running about. If only she had come back, maybe they could have saved more..
Nova has yet to tell anyone her secret, worrying that it will end in her demotion. But often the guilt eats at her and affects her mood.

Being a scout, it is Rememberence's job to make sure resources needed for survival are present. However, she can be a bit selfish and vengeful when insulted. As a result, when she was told to scout for water during a drought, she lied and said there was none, as she had been insulted earlier in the day. She has never told another this secret, as she knows it will result in being demoted.
