spazzy87, at your service. This is my first entry for a plummie ever, and golly she's beautiful.
Name:
JJ
Gender:
Female
Her Motto:
I will not transfer my pain into your satisfaction.
Her Personality:
JJ has sudden outbursts of boldness and humour. She is often playful and occasionally joking, despite the tranquil and good natured personality she holds true to her. JJ isn't predictable, even though she likes to blend into whatever crowd she fines suitable.
Her Dream:
Her dream is just to have a wonderful future. She's hoping to find a hubby, or a mate to last her all her life, and maybe little baby plummies running around the place too. JJ is still very animal like. She's very attached to nature and hopes to reside in a den, not a house, a den in the woods and wilderness and be greeted be quarrelling birds and stubborn gooses in the morning.
Dislikes:
Caterpillars. It's just.... Eeewiiiie.
Likes:
Meadows (without icky bugs o'course) and the sun shining upon the trees that knit together in a weave to form a bright canopy.
Why does she cover her eyes?
She doesn't mean to! Uh oh! Long hair is always too hard to keep out of her face, and try as she might, her unruly hair will not stop falling into her face.
Especially if you spend all day listening to, "I WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH, I WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH!"
Listen to her song! c: Clicky
Peace outtt! C:<
Okay, okay. Let's tell you the truth. Ready to hear?
JJ, in the nursery, tripped over her paws one day. Her short, stubby hair covered her face. She shook it out from her face and ignored the incident. A few days later, JJ saw someone getting hurt by a bully. Ashamed, but afraid of confronting the situaiton, JJ covered her eyes and ran off. The same incident happened over and over until one day, JJ gave up in hiding.
"Nealie, please stop," JJ said, her voice low as she spoke. "Nealie?"
JJ was done being a bystander as a weaker victim was constantly picked on. Didn't both the bully and bystander and victim deserve to have a talk?
Well, her little, shy and timid voice worked in a way. Nealie stopped poking young little Fiona. Instead she turned on JJ. But JJ wouldn't let her get to her. When she walked away from Nealie and her taunting friends, JJ always had her eyes covered, so she couldn't let everyone else see her hurt.
JJ lives by nine words: I will not transfer my pain into your satisfaction.
Now, JJ wears her hair like so just because it reminds her never to give someone a sort of satisfaction through her taunting. Her reasons have indeed changed over the years. Months after the name calling, Nealie did eventually apologize to JJ and they shared a laugh at how childish they both seemed. How Nealie was desperate for attention and JJ refused to face her. To look away from the hideousness of the world, to hide away from her own shame, to keep her dignity in place. Whatever the reason, if I am her future her owner, I'm proud of her decisions, through and through.
Don't ever transfer your pain into someone else's satisfaction. Please <3 The end.
Wait no! No, I've forgotten something to the story.
"JJ, how about you take it from here?"
"Oh alright, spazzy, if your insist,
Let me begin my tale,
Of terror, of delight
Will send your squealing
Yes that's right.
But spazzy, you are wrong.
The truth I did not tell you,
I just gave you some story from my past.
The truth is more magical,
But there's a difference between magical good
And magical bad.
Spazzy, I can see very well.
I'm not blind.
Or hiding from my fears through my locks-"
"Sorry to interrupt, hun. But you're telling me a poem right now, and it's not very rhyming is it?"
"What do you mean by tha-?"
"Ah bah tuu tat!"
"But-"
"Eh."
"But-"
"Uh uh."
"Alright then.
Let's begin.
I was young,
I still am,
He took my heart,
And then ran.
I chased after his every word,
Like a puppy with no whim,
Followed his tracks in my youth,
And through time I grew thin.
My heart wilted, whenever he looked past my eyes,
I'd gushed to distraction, when he even said hi.
I was pathetic and willing,
Convinced I had no regret.
But the truth was that he was killing,
A girl who had been...
Had been content,
And had been sweet,
A girl who did not bother to resent,
and simply knew no pain.
What about him it was, they asked,
And I said there was plenty.
From the way that he just frowned,
To the way that he just grinned.
The way his eyes had that faraway look,
To the way he had called me, a wide open book.
He said he could read my every thought, my every glance.
I believed him, I did, and for him I did prance-"
"JJ, that's kind of a desperate rhyme. Glance and prance. And why didn't you tell me this befo-"
"I was convinced he was noble, convinced he was suit,
Knew he had the heart to-"
"Don't interrupt me!"
"Spazzy, don't test my patience."
"I... Wow JJ, and I called you timid."
"Well I reread your form, and if you're going to adopt me, you're going to need my help."
"Fine then, continue."
"Let's go from here:
Then one day, just any normal sunny day,
I was sitting in the breeze.
Thinking about my past, and thinking about Nealie-"
"So that did happen?"
"Spazzy, I love you, but shut up."
"Okay, okay."
"When I heard a loud giggle and heard him laugh too,
I busted open the cabin door, which lost a few screws-"
"You're pretty weak JJ, so I can't say I believe that-"
"FOR GOODNESS SAKE SPAZZY SHUT YOUR YAP."
*whimper*
"Which lost a few screws,
And I found him kissing some unknowing shrew.
I gasped and flew over, begging to know why,
And how this girl had gotten here,
And to my demise....
He responded...
'Juju Junior, yes that's my full name,
I'd like you to meet, uh.... Erm... Let's call her what's her face.'"
"Oh JJ, I'm so sorry."
"And yes, I was too,
But I was hurt like this before,
So I knew what to do.
'My name is JJ, and hello, what's her face,
This guy is a nice kid, I hope you don't mind a chase.
I know him very well, he's strong, yet he's sweet.
I wish you two well, where did you meet?'
And what's her face smiled, and boy was she cute,
'We met around here, and hello to you too.
It was maybe a month ago, when he invited me over,
Said to be quiet, as not to wake up the neighbours.'
The tears formed in my eyes, but I blinked them away.
I asked her to continue, yet I hoped she didn't stay.
'I'm guessing you must live in the cabin besides,
Is this just a summer home, or where you reside?'
My answer, I choked on, and she offered me some water,
And when she lost her balance and fell, my love caught her.
I took the glass from her paws,
And bid her good day,
And with one single swallow, took the whole tray.
I set down the cup, and wiped my hands on my shirt,
Telling myself I'd be okay, that his love was just dirt.
I had given some of my life to him, it was almost a year,
And now this was his way of telling me he didn't like me, I would jeer.
He liked my spirit, but didn't want my heart.
Was I sister to him, from all the very start?
There was indeed an abandoned cabin next door.
I lived there until I couldn't stand it no more.
The couple had gotten hitched, a long while ago,
And I couldn't stand to see there lovingness so,
I packed up my troubles and covered my eyes,
So yes, my hair is for selfish reasons, this story is why."
Wow. I can't believe that was the truth. Really? I...
"JJ?"
"Yes?"
"Come give me a hug."
"... Thank you."
