The golden light dances on the rare stallion as he pranced into the ring
At the delicate rein of his rider directed him into a steady and collected gait
They moved in a rhythm, melodically dancing together as one that made the crowd sing.
The way they were brought together in a mysterious consequence, maybe it was fate.

The music and lights whirled around the duo, they were lost in their song
One golden stallion and his boy, the heart, spirit and soul of the dressage dance
Powerful symmetry and rippling muscles as the stallion concentrated on where they belong
His feet barely brush the ground as he floats above it, the crowd in awe at his prance.

For he is the dance, the music and the movement, he stretches out into a floating pace
Skimming the sand with his muscular neck arched, his intelligent eyes alive with wonder
As the music comes to a slow and end; the longing for one last dance lingers in the space
He slides to a graceful halt as his rider lowers his head in a salute; clapping commences like thunder.
