Ryland, Ry for short is a very outgoing plume. No matter your age, gender, sexuality, whatever; If you look alone, he'll make it his personal mission to end your peace, and cheer you up. He can't stand it when people are sad, and devotes most his personal time on parading the streets and attempting to make everyone at-least smile. His family was rather unhappy when he grew up, and it wasn't the atmosphere he wanted for anyone else, hence why he goes around like a normal person, making everyone's day just a tad brighter

Ry has no.... censor, you could say. He often approaches strangers, and just talks with them for a while, about everything you could imagine. He hates it when someone is sad, and devotes himself to making them happier

- Personal notes -- I imagine Ry, if won by me would be my 'Voice' so to say, around the plumerian fanclub and such. Venus is a very laid back Plumerian.He can often be found in the flower shop that he owns;this is where he's most comfortable.
He can tend to be cocky in certain situations,but overall he is very shy and reserved.


response to others;

A few relationships as examples so I can better explain below;

Justin-Venus is good friends with him.He's comfortable around him and has a small crush on him.Justin is one that he can be very cocky around and not be scared of doing something wrong.Meanwhile Justin has a huge crush on Venus and often stutters and messes up his speech around him.

Reese-Venus knows her.He isn't too comfortable around her,being that she's a cop and he has a tenancy to feel like he's always doing something wrong.Plus the fact of her being always angry,he feels a bit threatened around her.

Amaryllis-He is very relaxed around his friends cousin.He always feels perfectly fine being himself around her,because she isn't judgmental at all.Because of her love for flowers,he lets her tag along with him to work a lot,and likes to pick flowers with her and make crowns.

Perth-He does enjoy seeing Perth from time to time.He knew him from his childhood--Perth is an old elementary teacher of his.

Now,all that being said,Venus' response to people is a bit varied.It depends on who he's around honestly.If he's around a person he just met,doesn't like,or is scared of,it will be very different compared to him being around someone he's comfortable around,example being him with Reese verses him with Justin.

If he knows a person,and is comfortable around them,like Justin or Amaryllis,then he'll be calm,collected,and even joke around them.He may even get to the point where he acts cocky and all big and bad around them.Venus will freely joke around with them and feel comfortable being himself and actually speaking his mind.

If a person is someone like Reese,he may want to be their friend,but not know how to approach it because either they scare him or intimidate him.Venus will act very shy around them and skittish,and always look away from them because he's scared of making eye contact in fear of them yelling at him.

Now,if he feels someone is threat,or he just plain hates them,he will be very different.Venus is not a hateful person.He rarely has a mean bone in his body.His goal is to try and be polite to everyone he can.If someone makes him hate them,then they brought that on themselves.They must have done something horrid to him,someone he cares for,or anyone in general,then in his mind they don't deserve his time of day much less even a smile or kind word.A person has to TRY very hard to make him hate them.


In general,say if you were in a restaurant and happened to see him,by default he'd come off as shy and calm,and seem to have an air around him that makes everyone else calm and happy.He might come off as a bit cocky,but that's because he'd be with friends.If you were to go to his flower shop,he'd seem very at peace and happy,because mostly,he feels at home there and he would most likely be with Amaryllis,who like said before,makes him very calm.

Overall it depends on how someone treats him or his loved ones to know how he will respond to them.He is very trusting and it gets him into trouble sometimes,but also makes him very loving.So maybe,if you ever wanted to get to know him,it'd be very easy,just don't break his trust because you will not ever get it back,unless you try the hardest you can to make it up to him.


The Arcade Date

Venus was sweeping up at the shop,picking up flowers and such and setting things back where they went.He was supposed to be outside waiting for Justin,but a mother and two very silly pups came in--they made a huge mess.It was bothering him greatly.He finished everything up and tucked the broom into the closet where he kept his things,taking off the apron that he wore to hold things off and setting it under a cubby in the front desk.He grabbed a flower he kept under the desk and walked outside,turning around and locking the shop door.

A few minutes went by of him waiting before a tan plumerian with white and brown markings walked over.He had a blue bag slung over his shoulder."Hey you ready to go?"He had a light blush as he spoke.The green plumerian smiled at the sight of him,eyes brightening as he stood up straight."Hey Justin.Yeah,I am."He remembered the flower suddenly and then moved his paw from behind his back."Oh here,I um...I saved this for you."

Justin blushed more and smiled."Oh, thank you."He took it from him and put it in a pocket of his bag. "Your welcome."Venus replied back,then slowly reached over and grabbed his paw."Come on."Justin blushed lightly."Alright."He walked with Venus and looked around."Sooo where are we headin'?"


"You'll see soon enough."He grinned.He was certain Justin would love where he was taking him.Justin nodded."Alright."About twenty minutes later the green Plumerian had drug his friend to an old place,the letters on the top of the entrance reading "Robert's Fun Arcade".The tan plumerian got wide eyes filled with wonder."What is this place? I thought I had been to every arcade in town!"

Venus chuckled at him."Well this isn't in town,per say.It's on the other side of it." Justin grinned."Well let's go in!"He ran in without him."Justin wait for me!"Venus called as he ran in after him.He skidded and started opened mouth at all the arcade machines."They have everything here!"Venus leaned against one of the old pinball machines."That's right.And you get to play however many you want."

Justin smiled and hugged him tightly."Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He ran to the Pac Man arcade machines and grinned.He reached into his bag and put on his black hipster glasses with white tape around the middle.He put in a coin and started playing.Venus blushed dark when he was suddenly embraced,the let out a warm chuckle when he saw the glasses.He followed Justin and leaned on the game and watched him play.

Justin had a determined expression as he went for the huge dot.He got it and smirked as he chased the ghosts.Venus watched him with mild interest.After a few minute he beat it and cheered."WHOO! I didn't lose a life!"Venus clapped."Good job Justin."He blushed lightly and pushed his glasses up on his nose."Thanks."

A few hours had passed.Justin had just finished playing all the arcade machines.He went over to Venus with a yawn."Hey Venus? Could we start heading home?"He nodded."Sure."He grabbed Justin's paw again."Lets go."The other Plumerian blushed and squeezed his paw.Venus walked him out of the arcade and headed toward Justin's house.Justin smiled as they walked.

A little while later they arrived at Justin's home.He blushed at the other Plumerian slightly."Well we're back."He nodded and looked to the side."Yeah.."He smiled up at him."Thanks for taking me it was great.We should do it again sometime."He nodded warmly."We should.I'd like that."Justin blushed and kissed him softly.He pulled back with a soft smile before walking into his house.

Venus blushed dark and watched with wide eyes as Justin walked back into the house.Slowly he smiled and touched his lips,letting out a happy little squeak and turning around to walk home.

Foster is a casual and fun-loving Plumerian, who lives without a single care in the world and loves to be the center of a crowd's attention. Response to others;
Foster's response to others being around him is always positive, for him, at least. He springs right into conversation with the first Plumerian that strikes his interest, and if he finds the Plumerian interesting enough, he'll go right for his favorite game. The game of flirting- with any gender he comes across. Typically with the mild little compliments, whether it be their clothes, their eyes, or their fur, then slowly builds up to the kissing of the hand or asking them out to dinner one night. If he's rejected, well, he quickly gets over it and goes back to whatever he was doing before. He's never really been in love before, which one could probably guess by his awful job with flirting. Surprisingly, he doesn't see everyone as flirt targets. Most of his friends were made in result of his attempts [and fails] of flirting, and some of his closest friends are even the ones who agreed to go on a single date with him.

personality; Odin has a somewhat unique personality. Though it varies from time to time, he is usually an up-beat, pretty much overly confident plumerian. With him being somewhat awkward near people, he can come off as a bit odd. Odin can have a humorous side, bringing the occasional laugh to the conversation. Though many find him appealing, he can never find himself staying with and specific friend group, and he is usually seen as a “drifter”. Odin has mild bipolar, or a more direct term, cyclothymic disorder. Cyclothymic being a very mild type of bipolar, he doesn’t have as major mood swings as you might think. Every now and then he might have a short burst of depression or happiness, but for the most part it doesn’t bother him in a huge way. Whenever he gets sad though, he can’t stand being around people. He doesn’t want people to see him like that. He wants his image to remain strong, and brave. But besides the mood swings, he can easily become depressed. Odin often wishes for comfort, but he’d rather look brave then like a weak freak. With being a friend group drifter, he often finds it hard to keep up his confidence, and secretly, it is slowly lowering. Being as old as he, which I guess isn’t much, he still can’t believe he hasn’t found someone, or even a shoulder to lean on, which only makes him try harder.

Like a needle balancing on a thread Sebastian is a precise critter, pedantic and a slave to his ideals – too bad the world is constantly trying to tumble his needle pillar of precision, stupid world.
And by world I mean people.
Or other Plumies.

He is certainly not one to intrude on your daily life, oh no, and not one to fall into a nit-picking frenzy of intolerance for your many many flaws. Because he is far too busy not caring for your stupidity, or idiocy, or absurdity if you fancy.
He is occupied by his own endeavours.

Endeavours you say? Why what undertakings could he possibly be searching for?
Easy, Sebastian is a speedy worker, intimidating in both looks and deadly efficiency. So what he needs in his down time is a nice Plumie to showcase his antics too. Oh yes, indeed he is a nasty beastie when it comes to playing with others mentalities. His favourite method being a battle of wits and mind games, the mind houses the consciousness – why not mess with an intangible thing?

So why is he so serious? And why must he whisper in a snickering tone to himself? These two traits are contradictory are they not.
Sebastian is a solemn being for he must pretend to float around this world, not part of it in spirit, but of body. He is a Plumarian even if he feels it doesn’t do him justice to call himself so. His own kind holds a certain mundane quality he finds off-putting, perhaps his DNA remembers a time before his species dwindled in numbers? Maybe he has a sensation of loss, as if he’s missing part of what made him a Plumie? And thus he sees it in others as well.
To combat this he snickers at life, and at himself, he buries himself in being fastidious and taking part in a number of games involving the mind, trying to discover what went wrong. He has a ridged code he lives by, a built up of contracts and pacts he promises himself.

Sebastian is over the top in his dealings with the general public.
He is at a defeat when it comes to finding a stimulating conversation.
He is missing part of himself he doesn’t know how to find.
But he is Sebastian Sutcliffe,
And that is all he wants in the end.
