What is a Light Collector?

A Light Collector, or LC for short, is a small mystical creature who eats or ''collects'' forms of light. Their favorite snacks are always light which is the same color as their glow. This glow appears on a baby Light Collector's tail at birth as a light white color that quickly develops its permanent color within a hour of being born. When the baby Light Collector grows its horns as an adolescent, this same glow appears on the tips of the small round horns. But the wonder does not stop at the beautiful glowing tails and horns, as all Light Collectors have the ability to fly even without wings. They are incredibly light, allowing them to float through the air lighter than a feather.

He is fascinated with the glowing green luna moth. They are a rare and exciting sight, their pale wings spanning several inches. They don't live very long, so seeing one is almost like a blessing. Bosco enjoys letting them rest on him and cherishing the moments he can be with them, as he knows he's is likely to never see them again. He wishes something so beautiful would have the chance of a longer life.

Favorite insect and why?
Due to his fasination with the weird and oddly striking, Stahl has taken a particular interest in insects, studying and collecting them as a hobby. Of all his specimens, however, his favorite by far are the iridescent Indian Beetles. With their tough exoskeleton that reflects light in a rainbow of color, he can't help but admire their appearance.

As well as studying them, he has come to love the colorful looking things so much that they even take a presedent place within his chosen career as a herbologist, making the iridescent beetles the mascot, more or less, of his very own apothecary where he harvests, makes, and sells natural herbs and medicines.

Favorite Insect and Why?:
Oran's fascination starting with insects after he came across a caterpillar, and therefore since he devoted his time to travel around and discover other species of caterpillar's before they turned to butterflies. Then one day he found the Tailed Emperor Butterfly Caterpillar, and has been hooked on this caterpillar, because its armor-plated forehead extended into four bizarre horns that made it seem more at home with the dinosaurs than anything from this millennium. The butterflies would lay their eggs in groups, usually on Illawarra Flame trees, and the alien like caterpillars emerged from the eggs.

Favorite Insect and Why?:
Aphids. Most people hate aphids because they destroy plants, but Ervor finds them to be quite interesting. As a light collector, he wouldn't consider himself a destroyer of light, simply a consumer- as are aphids. They suck the life out of plants and use it as life for themselves. Aside from that they're tiny but cute upon closer inspection, taking their time and building families on the underside of leaves and flower buds. They're also green. Just like Ervory c:
