Tall, lean frame, round ears, and bright eyes, Xholis are diurnal, hierarchal, and intelligent species that wield the forces of nature. Xholis are social animals that can be recognized into 2 different clans. The ones that hunt at dusk, and those that hunt at dawn. Their pelt reflects their environment as the Dusk hunters tend to have darker palette while the Dawn hunters are significantly lighter. Between those two clans, the species are once again split into more diverse and specialized packs. Fire, Earth and Water are the most common forces of nature that each Xholi wields. The gem they are born with determines their attribute, which is effected by the parent's gems. Every Xholi is given a role befitting their status in the pack, and the leader of the each pack is expected to keep the peace.

Biggest Failure in 5 words: Harnessed powers in dry field.

Explanation: When Falin was a young, inexperienced apprentice, he was on a hunt with with a group of older Xholis, one of which was his mentor. The group was working to corner their prey, but it was too quick and Falin noticed that many members of the group were growing weary from the chase. At one point, Falin's mentor was right on the prey's tail, and they were racing towards him. In a spontaneous decision, Falin shot a shower of flames from his gem in an attempt to stun the prey for just long enough so his mentor could nab it. Unfortunately, Falin failed to realize that they were hunting in a huge field riddled with dry bracken that acted as an excellent fuel, and his fire eventually enveloped the entire field, rendering it useless as a hunting ground for years until vegetation began to grow back. While Falin is still deeply ashamed of this experience, he uses it as a lesson for his own apprentices to learn from, teaching them not to act impulsively and always remain aware of changing circumstances.

"My biggest failure? Oh, it's bad, trust me. Heh, heh." Oranensce chuckled nervously as a pup asked her the question. Why it was asking her was a reason unknown to many. "Well, it happened a few months ago, actually. A few other hunters and I went out to go get some prey, as usual, but at one point in time, our hunting party split up, thinking it'd be easier to find some. Now, i'm not the greatest at planning, as you've probably heard, but if you ever had doubts, this story will prove that, I promise." She smiled awkwardly, ignoring the glares a few other Xholis were shooting towards her as she spoke. Obviously they remembered the incident. "Anyway, as I was searching for prey, I came upon a herd of elk. Overcome with surprise and slight pride, I decided that I would find a way to bring them down. Quickly, I put together a genius, er, well, I thought it was genius at the time, at least, plan. I would lead the herd back to camp, where my packmates would have enough sense to take them out. It was perfect!" Oranensce smiled, though with her next words, that smile would melt into a look of great nervousness. "Or so I thought." She said quietly, noticing that everyone was watching her. "My plan backfired, and the herd ended up stampeding into the camp, destroying dens and injuring Xholis left and right." Her ears drooped. "It was my fault, but I definitely learned my lesson."

" Getting through the night I have to control my feelings" she says shyly to herself while a wild group of board are eating a mile away from her. "bring home a board or two for the pack..what if I can't do it or won't be enough for the others..have to do it" she tries to bring her own spirits up to keep going and not turn back empty handed. "I will do it if it's my last breath.." She get down low to take charge to chase and bring home food like the others do.

" I...I did it for once I really did something good" she yips happily , drags the wild board she took down back home " I'll do more training and...maybe I'll do better!" She makes it back to pack .

Aloe gets distracted very easily, which is definitely not a trait you want as a hunter. Her attention span is like a pup's, and it's hard for her to focus on one animal while hunting for her pack. Whether it's a loud bird call, or even a flash from a firefly, Aloe's attention quickly leaves the prey and is instead directed towards the distraction.

Aloe perked her ears, falling in step with her fellow packmates. She broke away from the crowd, in pursuit of a rabbit. Suddenly, just as she was about to clamp her jaws down on the furry creature, a large owl flew overhead. Aloe's senses immediately snapped from the rabbit to the owl as it glided through the cool night air. "Wow, look at that bird!" she called to her packmates, completely unaware of the rabbit who was dashing into its burrow.
"Oh Aloe...." they sighed, shaking their heads.
