aspen is -- well a rather kind, and happy xholi. never will she turn away anyone that is different, and often stays alert if anything like bullying occurs. some call her motherly, but it's just he way she is. she wants everyone to be treated equal, and will give anything to do so. aspen was often grown up with ideals of the packs within packs being equal. but she has been punished so for voicing those thoughts, she will continue speaking. even with punishment, aspen remains cheerful and equal to all. remaining a firm stance in the forest of her mind as her ideals are being quaked by the wind of her fellow pack mates.

the soft sound of his paws hitting the damp ground ticked in his ears, the fresh morning air ruffling his fur. the
sweet whistles of the earlybirds relaxed him, he smelled faintly of salt and sand. panoply rested atop a small
dune, noting the height of the sun, it was almost time to begin hunting. every hunter was assigned a place, a
strip of land or a patch of sea, and when the bottom of the sun was just above the stretch of water, they could
start. his paws itched to feel the smooth surface of a crabs shell, or the feathers of a seagull.

almost like an alarm went off in his head, he shot off the mound of sand without a second thought, spraying up
the minuscule rocks that covered the territory. he snapped his teeth down on an unfortunate turtle, gem
gleaming as clear water slowly formed into a bowl. he dropped it in there, continuing on happily, saying hello
to a few other xholis he had seen nearby. his tail ached as more prey was dropped in, breathing heavily he
hurried back to camp, dumping his catches onto the pile as others began to shell the muscles and such.

his tail hurt dearly, and he settled down next to the sea, watching the slow, bright blue waves roll in. the
gentle motions made his eyelids heavy, and he drifted off to sleep, lashes brushing against his cheeks.

Personality: Soft, quiet. That is how most others see Eliseus, and that is how Eliseus views himself. Dependent, meek. That is how some of the others may describe Eliseus, and Eliseus does not disagree with this view either. As a child, Eliseus was rather weak, unconfident. He quickly grew attached to his pupsitter, quickly looking to the pupsitter for reassurance. Any act he did that he thought was worth being praised for, he'd hound his pupsitter for attention. And since they were so kind, they would cheer him on, and he gained some more confidence, along with more dependency and a feeling of indebtedness to them. One day, he thought since he was rather on the weak side and loved his pupsitters, he must be fit for being a pupsitter like them. So he did try out, when he was old enough to do so, to become a pupsitter. But once again, he was dependent. He who was dependent would not be a good source of nurture and care, since they would rely on someone else so much. The pupsitter had to be a support for the pups, and Eliseus could not provide that for them. However, he was rather cunning, at least, as he showed some of it when he would get his pupsitters to watch him learn how to do something new, such as harnessing some of his gem skills, or crawling around undetected. So the pupsitters he had grown to depend on so much told Eliseus to become a hunter. And since he was rather meek and compliant, he accepted the suggestion, and was quickly entered into the hunters.

From the beginning she was a fast learner. She loved sightseeing the territories of her clan. She enjoyed to sneak out of the house to do at least a few steps on her own. She surrounded herself with lots of friends. Some of them were older than her, some younger. She wanted her parents to be proud of her and that's the reason why she tried to learn as much as she could. She studied all rules, she practiced with the elders. She learned mostly from hunting sessions since she knew that this is what she will choose as her future profession. She helped everyone as much as she could no matter who they were. She wanted to make everyone happy according to the rules of the clan. She wasn't even thinking of breaking them. She didn't think too highly of herself, she knew that she makes many mistakes but still she worked hard on fixing them. All the praises always embarrassed her even though she felt appreciated.

Within time her studies brought good results. She became a hunter- one of the bests . Most of the youngsters spoke to her with great respect, enjoyng every praise that came from her, tough they always acted different in front of others. She kept asking patiently them to be themselves, to stop acting like someone else but the outcome was always the same. Her friends also stopped refering to her like they used to – also with great respect. Not having anyone to talk to she became taciturn and introverted. The shyness also dissapeared and was replaced with confidence , it became impossible to embarrass her. She was praised less often because there was no one to do that. Only the elders or the leader could do so. The graditude from those that she helped started boring her. She still practised and focused on details altough she had nothing to improve. Defeating a plain fox didn't last long, even scaring a bear away didn't tire her. She felt responsible for each Xholis that's why she often didn't have time for herself.

You could say that Sora is a bit of a freak for everything that is perfect - the kill of her prey has to have the perfect jump, the perfect placement, just - everything. Anything that isn't up to her standards is like an itch within her neck - it bugs her, and bugs her, and it continues until she finally scratch the itch. However, sometimes it stays there, even after a good scratch - often that is because she cannot right the wrong she sees and/or knows about.
But just because Sora is a Perfection-Artist doesn't mean that she will be nasty to those who are imperfect to her level - she just becomes worried that they are affected by some sort of evil spawn, and goes up to them. She speaks within a calm voice, telling them nicely about the way their fur is bugs her, or how they did their job. Sora tries her best to be nice but often comes off as stuck up, when she believes she is only trying to help.
The only times she could be really nasty to another Xholi or a particular group is if there is something imperfect, but they cannot do anything to change it. An example would be Gem-Placement; she doesn't mind if there is just one instead of two, but it would bug her if they were different sizes - she actually hates her tail because of this, and is glad that she cannot see it because it is behind her.
Sora uses her gems to create a kind of lasso around her prey which encases the prey within a droplet large enough to slow the prey down. However she has to be fast enough to first catch up to the prey then second, create a stream of water surrounding the prey which kind of just closes in on the prey pretty quickly, encasing them within the droplet to make catching prey easier. However, even Sora finds this hard to pull off as it is a new thing she has come up with.
