It's the day before I officially adopt Bouncer, to train him as a show dog. I hope that having Aqua from a previous adoption event will help in training him, as Aqua is peculiarly intelligent. If Agua can understand what I'm saying and help Bouncer figure it out, then the training may go smoothly. There is the chance that Agua could get jealous and not tell Bouncer, or inform him wrongly. If that should happen, I can figure out a way around it. Why figure out a solution to a possibility?

I will be training Bouncer in my basement and backyard, depending on the weather. I'll use positive reinforcement to get Bouncer to understand and do what I'm training him to do faster. It's late now though, so I'm going to sleep.

I figure Bouncers hyper-activity and loudness is due to him needing a job, or something to do. I've been bust settling him in, he has a bed in a room down the hall and one in my room. GOT to go now, post later!

Bouncer has successfully learned how to walk a bar, and run through a tunnel due to Agua's help. Ague hasn't gotten jealous at all, and seems to enjoy a playmate. When they aren't training, they're usually roughhousing in the garden. Every time it thunders though, Agua comes running into my leg. I've nearly tripped over him several times.

I'm trying to teach the two jumping now, you know my tactic of monkey see, monkey do? Yeah, I'm using it on both of them now. I hop over the bars and pretend to eat a treat. I've been doing this for the past hour now. Then Bouncer gets a sudden burst of excitement, and hops over not one of the agility bars, but the entire course. He doesn't clip one of them.

"Yes!" I scream, and give bouncer a treat and a belly rub.

The first day or so, Bouncer was very Hyper and barked at every leaf on every tree, but now that we've started the agility training, he's calmed quite a bit.

Bouncer has been sleeping in my room, in his bed though. Every time I get up he follows, but today I have to go to work. Bouncer can`t come though. No pets.

I eat breakfast, and grab my keys before running out the door. I hop into my chevy, and drive to work at the office.

When I get back I see that the couch is torn up and Bounder is under it. When I walk into the kitchen mugs, plates, glasses, and bowls are shattered on the floor. Drops of red are here and there on the floor. I go over to the couch and call Agua. I check Agua and Bouncer over, Agua is fine but Bouncers paws are scratched and torn. I tell him to stay, and as I'm in the kitchen I hear whimpers and moving. I grab the first aid kit, and run back in. I dab his paws, and wrap them up. I don't know if there is glass in his feet or not, so I just pick him and carry him to the chevy before driving to the vets.

The vet cleaned and removed remaining glass shards, and suggested I get Bouncer a kennel for when I go to work. I can't get one today though, or even tomorrow. I thought about leaving him in the backyard, but that will not work. He could escape and get lost.

I kneel down and look at Agua.

"Do me a favor hon, and keep Bouncer out of trouble while I'm gone. That includes hurting himself."

Agua nods and wags his tail.

The next day I get in the car and drive to work, coming back I see a torn pillow, and the chair leg is gone. It's a three-legged chair. Agua runs to me from the hallway, and grabs the leg of my pants. He drags me to one of the rooms, where I see Bouncer huddling in my bathtub. He looks up guiltily.

"Oh sweetie. Why do you do this?" He whimpers. "You know I'll come back, you know I will." He whimpers again, and I turn to Agua. "Did I not tell you to watch him?" Agua looks down at the ground. "I'm not mad, I just think maybe you could've persuaded him or calmed him down."

When I get home from work, I see Agua and Bouncer in the front room. There are no more stray pillows, and no broken glass anywhere in the house. Bouncer was panting quite a bit though. I sit down between the two foxes, and stroke their heads.

"See now that was not so bad, was it?" Bouncer moves his head onto my lap, and lets out a whoosh of breath. Time to train again.

I walk to two into the yard, and set up everything they've learned. There are two courses, exactly the same. There are bar walks, tunnels, and hurtles, but I`ve added something new. There`s a see saw halfway through the course. I have starting lines with both courses, and One course has a blue theme, while the other has brown. It`s a race. I explain this to both foxes, and sit them each at their own starting points. They are wagging their tails, and are very excited.

Blowing a whistle I yell "Go!"
