A pup was rolling dangerously close to a nearby ditch and Cadence stepped in just as there was about to be a tumultuous disaster …
Being a pupsitter seemed boring sometimes. Of course, she couldn’t find anything else that’d suit her better though. Dealing with the youngsters was all she got. And she was determined to prove to herself that she could do this job right. So, she poured herself into the business of pupsitting, meraki. She’d whispered the word of inspiration to herself so many times each day that it somehow became a tune that she hummed like second nature. Through this habit, Cadence found she had a special skill none other had―a melodious howl. It wasn’t always quite a howl, but maybe yowls or yelps comprised together and accompanied by odd clicks and snapping from Cadence’s jaws that made it sound like music. Beautiful, wondrous music that was meant for the pups, but elders secretly paused just to listen, to hear her singing the rhythm of things from the world. They were poems woven into her throat without any words. Just notes that felt nothing less than phantasmagorical. And when she moaned low tones, her crystals dimmed, but when she threw back her head and trilled at the sky, her crystals would wink like the prisms she believed sparkled in the aurora borealis …
When she hear Cadence sing, you can’t help but let your jaw slowly drop and it’ll keep on dropping till you realize that you’re drooling …

~ She is a bitter Xholi who throws insults back at those who give them, however to pups and those in training she is firm, but kind towards them. With the absence of love she is rather clueless about it - before she became a pupsitter - but now she has an understand. But because of past actions she is seen as nasty, and she doesn't know how to deal with the loneliness she feels. She just bottles it up ~
