--Dixie is a champion show dog, and she knows it! Often times she's quite the
prissy diva, but every once in a while, you'll see her soft side. She's not the
brightest crayon in the box, but she tries; being the runt of the litter, she was
always a bit behind. It takes twice as long to teach her something, and if you
aren't repetitive, she'll forget. What's more, she is easily distracted. Anything
from a leaf in the wind to the faintest siren will have her bounding aimlessly
about, looking for anything to play with. Dixie also has a ton of energy! She
never seems to get tired and would be content to just play in a park forever;
with frequent snacks of course.
--Dixie has an obvious obsession with lemon drops;
it's the one thing that can re-capture her attention and actually get her to
focus. For a few minuets at least.

This was taken at one of Dixie's dog shows; specifically, right after winning Best In Show and reviving the prize - a golden bone, a silver tiara decorated with sapphires and having her picture taken on a red carpet to record her victory. Naturally, she loved every second!

Not surprisingly, Dixie loves Halloween. She likes all the attention she gets from her cute costumes and she likes running from one neighborhood to the next to go trick-or-treating. But most of all, she loves collecting candy! All of the near-by neighborhoods know her now, and always giver her the less popular candies, which usually turn out to be her favorites. But the funny part is, she can't wait for Halloween each each year, and often goes "trick-or-treating" on her own. She'll just grab a pillowcase and walk from house to house, collecting all sorts of little treats and snacks!
