The Personality
Vida has had an ever-changing personality, ever since she was a kid. It has never really been definite, or set in place for longer than a few years. As a child, Vida was quite the outgoing kia. She would get herself into all kinds of trouble, never owning up for her actions and quite often blaming the things she would do on her siblings. She was quite a good liar, and was often able to slide away from getting a punishment that someone else would then have to take for her. Of course, she loved this. Until she had grown into her teen years, she seemed to be the perfect little kid, never getting in trouble despite all the things she should've been yelled at for. As she grew, the realization of her actions had start to hit, and she realized that lying wasn't the best thing she should do. Her demeanor begun to change as she begun to own up to her actions. As a teenager, she begun to mature. She wasn't quite as outgoing as before, rather becoming quite shy and conserved. She didn't talk to her peers, investing much of her time in reading or studying for school. As she lost this social part of her personality, Vida found herself not quite understanding how to speak to others. She could converse about educational topics all day long, though when the subject of dating or parties came up, she found she would easily lose her voice in a crowd. Without this sense of belonging, Vida found she needed to bring back aspects of her childhood that she missed dearly. She tried to be more outgoing, though this sudden change in character seemed odd towards those she would try to converse with. Often times they would do nothing but nod and smile, then walk away as if nothing happened. It never occurred to her until adulthood that suddenly changing her personality would fix all her problems. Leading up to her adult life, Vida quickly gave up on the idea of trying to fit in, and simply focused on school rather than a social life. Now, as an adult, Vida still retains a bit of the personality she had as a teenager. She doesn't socialize much, and quite frankly doesn't understand exactly how to communicate with others. She is quite educated though, as she never did much except study throughout her younger years. She is quite calm, easily controlling emotions that she may develop and releasing the bad feelings through reading or writing.

the young kia stepped back from the previously smoothly colored wall, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. what once was plain, was now art to young vida. a red crayon was clenched in her right fist, worn down from excessive use. she stepped back to admire her work- a large mass of scribbles which, in her mind, was a beautiful representation of a unicorn galloping through a forest. she knew for sure this was not a good idea, though the wall was so huge and it made a lovely canvas! of course, when pocky or khajiit saw this, they would definitely see it differently. glancing down at the crayon, she knew she should better dispose of the thing. if either of her parents saw her with the thing, they would know she did something bad! nibbling on her fingernail, she bounded into the hallway. her artwork was on display in the bathroom- a place she knew would be difficult to track down the perpetrator. if she would have done it in her room, man that would be the end of it! she took a few glances to make sure neither of her fathers were about before wandering into the kitchen and disposing of the crayon in the garbage.
