Unlocking Flox with magic keys releases a burst of light or dark aura based on the floc's nature. By adopting a Floc, you agree to assist in the mission to uncover the mysteries of their past. Are you up to the challenge?

Floc Name: Abilene [name of a town. means 'grass']
Describe this Floc's favorite place! Why is it their favorite?: Out beyond the busy places, near the playground of the western wind, the green plains stretch to the horizon in all directions around a small pool, muddied with earth and threaded through with clean plant-roots. In quiet moments Abilene likes to hover there over the water, turning slowly as the wind makes silvery waves of the grasses, breezes rushing and spiralling like the pattern on their fur.They've found nowhere else quite so quiet - no sound but the rush and rustle of millions of grass blades in the wind - and nowhere so calm, away from anyone who might disturb them.

Describe this Floc's favorite place! Why is it their favorite?
Ivy's favorite place is rather rainy, and tall trees scrape the sky above, their vines touching the ground due to their long length. A small river of clear water runs through and around some of the trees, lilly pads dotting it's surface. The floral life of the area is claimed to be beautiful, all different shades of color. Their sizes vary from tall to small, and shape can vary from flower like, to random shape.

Describe this Floc's favorite place! Why is it their favorite?: Zher favorite spot is within the forest behind the nearby school. It's relatively quiet, with only the ear-piercing sounds of cicadas. The woods aren't that appealing in any other manner either. So what's the reason zhe likes to hang out there? There's a legend that a monster lurks behind the school, able to be lured out with a bit of your sandwich or with a strange squawking sound. All the adults thought it was a silly kids' story. But this quiet, reserved Floc likes to spook them and reinforce the fact that he's real throughout the generations. The story keeps getting told during recess and in the cafeteria. Why he doesn't show himself to the adults, only wanting to show himself to innocent kids? Adults will trap or kill him ; kids will try to attract him and the adults will think it's all nonsense. He likes hearing the amusing retellings of the so-called 'myth'...and being able to prey on them when they aren't looking.

Akiha, which is a Japanese name that means Autumn Leaf.

In the middle of a nearby hill is a small cave, deep and winding. In it are crystals, and stalagmites and stalactites. In the center is a small pool of water, clear and pure. Akiha loves this place, as it's a place where she can be loud, loud with her music, and no one will hear her, or care. She has an I-pod that she uses, and she goes to this place, and is loud. Her music is enough to shake the hillside, and she doesn't care. She just dances to her heart's content, with no one yelling at her for her music.

Akiha is a boisterous little Floc, who full of energy and spunk. If she could speak out loud, she'd always have to be told to be quiet! Even so, her mental voice is really loud. Other flox don't particularly like talking to her, since they basically have a very loud voice invading their mindspace. So, Akiha tends to hang out by herself, listening to loud music as much as she can.

She's not always the nicest of flox, since being pushed away has made her distant from others. She has a tendency to snap at others when they interrupt her, and they don't always like this. Solitude is generally best for Akiha.

Her favorite thing to do on her own is to turn up music really loud on an I-pod that she has, and dance. She can't do this in very many places, so she goes to her little hillside cave. It's rumored to be haunted, but that's just her and her music, rocking out.
