THE PATCHESMirage had noticed there was this guy who seemed to always be following her. She though his name was Jason, if she remembered right. At first, she ignored it. But then she started to get a bit creeped out. He was always there in the background, staring at her. Honestly, she wasn't sure if the guy loved her or hated her. But it was unnerving, nonetheless. He seemed to be obsessed. Perhaps he was just insane. Little did she know, Mirage was about to find out.
She'd been walking by herself in the woods when she was suddenly knocked over. A dark shape flew out of the bushes and pined her down in one swift move, peeling their lips back to expose glistening, sharp white teeth. Mirage struggled under the weight of her attacker, trying to wiggle free, but it was no use. She felt a paw slam into the side of her head, and then everything went black.
When she came to, she had no idea where she was. It was dark, and the floor beneath her was cold and hard. The Cleud got the impression she was in a cave somewhere, but the more pressing matter was that she was tied up to a stalagmite or something and couldn't move. There was a small hole in the ceiling of the cave that let a thin beam of light in. The Cleud that that had captured her stepped into the dramatic lighting, tilting his head up so Mirage could finally see his face. Of course it was Jason. Of course.
"Time to play, dolly!" the canine screeched, grinning as he pulled out a needle and thread and jabbed it into her skin. Mirage screeched in pain as he began to sew a patch of fabric onto her fur. "You're my plaything now." Jason chuckled, dipping the needle in and out, in and out. Okay, this guy was officially psycho. He leaned closer to her, bloodshot eyes staring into hers. "You're mine." he whispered.
And she would be his, for a long time. After he was done stitching the patches onto her, he untied the ropes. Mirage ran around the cavern, looking for a way out, but the only escape seemed to be that hole in the roof. And he'd posted guards outside. Jason just laughed as he used the stalagmites as stairs to get to the hole in the roof and stepped out. He peered down at Mirage. "I'll be back soon, teddy bear."
Hours passed. Then days. Then weeks. After that, Mirage lost track. Jason occasionally came back with prey to keep her alive. Sometimes he'd beat her. Sometimes he wouldn't give her food until she did whatever ridiculous thing he wanted. Other than that, she was alone and miserable. Sometimes she would try to rip the patches off, but to no avail. She remained vigilant through it all, always watching the guards at the entrance, looking for a chance to escape. And finally, that chance came. The guards had dozed off because they were idiots. She watched them for a while to make sure they were asleep, focusing on every breath in and out and flutter of their eyelids. Finally, after she was sure they were slumbering, she crept up the stalagmite staircase. Then she jumped out the entrance and ran. The guards groggily got to their paws, but there was no catching her now. Finally, she was free.
PERSONADespite what she's gone through, Mirage has always managed to remain optimistic. As a friend, she is undyingly loyal and would give her life for them. She is very creative and artistic and loves to create and design things. However, she has a short temper and is easily pissed off. Mirage has a deep distrust f men because of her ordeal and would much rather stick close to females. She's not afraid to be mean if she thinks you deserve it, but she would never physically hurt someone. Despite her slightly grumpy disposition, she's hilarious and fun-loving. She loves to party and hang out with her friends, and her sass adds a little spice to life.
