Why have you guys in acted this rule?
Because this is suppose to be for charity. And now its not about that at all

I've been hearing some complaints about this from my friends and this is the first time I'm actually caring about this.
Now, I don't care about the competitions and everything but I'm gonna go ahead and say this; this is supposed to be about charity. So why say "you can only earn this much!"..?
Last I checked charities don't put a limit on how much you can give them because it wouldn't be "fair to others that can't have those bragging rights".

This rule is charitable to the wrong group of people.

NEW RULE
We have put a limit on the amount of points you can use for this event. You can use up to 80k of your earnings on your freerice profile. We are doing this so it is more fair for everyone. Once you gain 80 points, you may not gain any more and once you use 80 points, there is no gaining any more so choose the dees you really love to bid on!

This seems unfair. There are already people who have worked very hard to get over 80k points.
Plus, isn't this meant to be for charity? Where is the incentive now? People are just going to stop earning once they hit 80k.
Instead of making a cap to try and be more fair, maybe there should be more dees available for people who cant earn so many points? Like a simple design for people to bid on who only have less than a certain amount of points.

You can go and get as much rice for the hungry as you want, but only 80,000 points of it can be used for the event c: Those people that have gone and earned all those points we are so proud of!!! This event is about what YOU make it to be. We have just put a limit because then people who have 300,000 points have the chance of winning most all dees and thats not fair to others. Yes, the limit you may use for this event is 80k, but who said you cant do more for the hungry?
This is for charity
If people stop at 80k points of rice, its not us that have the wrong intentions

I personally like the rule. It'll lower the price of the dees so everyone can have a good chance of winning one. And we're doing this and earning points to help feed the hungry, like Emmi said. It shouldn't be all about the belldandys.

I just saying that its not fair to those who have or already bid extremely high.


Also. What if you win one for 60k? Most of the dees are going for over 20k.
So then you won't be able to win another one, even though you didn't hit the limit?
