Why do they have feathers?:
He originally looked like any other reaper, only feathers on his wings. One day on his way home from the pine forest a little while away, he saw a small bird that had fallen out of it's nest and it seemed to be having trouble getting back up. He thought about the situation, and he eventually helped the bird back into it's nest. The bird pushed one of the feathers from the nest, a long blue-grey one, he assumed as thanks. He picked it up and took it back home, happy the bird thanked him. He tied the long feather to a string for safe keeping. He curled up and fell asleep that night, nothing unusual happening. Almost 2 weeks later, he noticed strange stubs protruding from his shoulders, back of his horns, and his hips. He wondered what they were, but just assumed it was normal. Over the next few weeks, feathers grew from the stubs, and he always assumed that that was normal. In reality, he is a wind reaper that is highly influenced but his surroundings, so he grew feathers because he was exposed to a feather for a long time.
What should I know about him/her/them?
Quicksilver loves spending time in his cave, or just outside of it. He doesn't like straying far from home except for pine cones. He prefers the company of other animals rather than his own kind, so he lives far away from other Reapers. He is pretty fast and enjoys running around the woods outside his cave.
Story:
Quicksilver ran out of his cave, spotting some pine cones just outside of it's entrance. He assumed that one of the animals had left them here, probably that bird. Ever since that day, the bird seemed to keep giving him small items or food. He was worried about it, what with it bringing the items from far away. He saw the bird take off, so he launched himself off of his 'Porch'. He glided along behind the bird, stopping once he lost too much altitude. The bird showed no sign of stopping, and he felt sorry for it. They had been in the air for a long time, and despite it having to flap its wings as it seemed to be unable to glide very well, it had never stopped to rest or eat. He decided to head back to the bird's nest to wait for it to return. While he was waiting he gathered food for the bird, and nesting materials as the nest seemed to be deteriorating from lack of care. About 3 hours after he arrived, the bird came back, having dropped it's load off at his mountain home. He greeted the bird as best he could, giving it the food. It chirped weakly and ate a few seeds, obviously tired. He tried to make it understand that it's gifts were appreciated, but he didn't want it to hurt itself to get them. The bird chirped weakly again, but flew into it's nest. Quicksilver gave the bird the nesting materials, and the bird wove it's broken nest back together, falling asleep from exhaustion soon after finishing. He retreated back to his mountain lair, arriving shortly before dawn. He sighed peacefully, them went to sleep. One last thing was left outside his cave, unknown to him by a small weasel living in the forest below.
A single egg in a feather-padded nest.
