Her Greek counterpart was Artemis. Both took vows to never marry and stay chaste. In some myths, she asked Zeus to make her young forever. I chose this name because it relates to how she can never grow up and how she enjoys wandering around the woods behind her house. personality;; Diana is a bit of a tomboy, as she is very athletics-oriented and dislikes most traditional "girly" activities (such as adoring the color pink). Don't get me wrong, she loves being a girl, she just wishes that everyone would stop treating her like a china doll; delicate and only good for looks. She's clever, reliable, and curious. Occasionally, she can get so wrapped up in what she's doing that she snaps at anyone who talks to her. She always feels guilty afterwards, though. Apologies come slowly, but surely. She prefers being outside to being inside and likes to go on long walks in the woods behind her house to sketch the wildlife and the landscape. Under her bed, she keeps a collection of the things that she's found there in a big box. likes;;

xxxx key?;; The first time she went into the forest, she was still upset at her parents for moving them to the new house last minute, one day before summer break started, without telling her. She just needed some fresh air and some time to calm down, away from their reassuring comments that "it'll be alright" and "isn't this such a nice little house; very vintage, don't you think?" She followed a small path into the woods and soon felt her anger draining away as she took in the calm surroundings. The path ended at a small stream, so she walked to the edge to see if she could find any neat pebbles. In the shallows, she saw something glitter in the dim sunlight. Diana got down on her knees to take a closer look. There in the mud was a small key! xxxxx"What's it go to then?" she wondered. Casting about herself, she looked for any sort of box or broken lock that it might fit. There was nothing, so she picked up the key, got up, and starting walking upstream. After about five minutes, and now with paws thoroughly covered in mud, she spotted a big blue chest, waterlogged and slightly rotting, but a chest nonetheless. Breathless, she put the key into the lock and, after a few minutes of wrestling and wiggling, turned it so that the lid popped open. There was nothing in it, but the chest had sparked an idea in her. Many minutes later, her parents found her near the end of the path, struggling to pull the bulky box behind her. Belatedly, they helped her drag it onto the porch. Diana quickly explained her idea of keeping it to start a collection. They disagreed immediately on the grounds that it was too dirty and would probably fall apart. However, after a minute of haggling back and forth, they agreed to let her keep the the key if she cleaned it. Her father then cut the lock out of the chest and told her that he'd build a new box to mount it on. She happily agreed, washing the key and waiting impatiently for the box to be built. The problem was, she kept loosing the key in all of the cardboard boxes and miscellaneous items that were still in her room from the move. Exasperated, she found a long piece of string and tied it to her tail, so that she'd never lose it again.That's where it's been ever since. xxxxxA week after the chest was dismembered, her dad trudged up the stairs and put a covered object onto her floor. Diana eagerly pulled off the cover and stared at the wonder that was revealed: a painted green wooden box with a hinged lid and the lock (now clean and functional) from the old chest. She grabbed the key and turned it in the lock and looked inside. It was painted a dark green with little firefly designs, and in the bottom was a letter from the friends she'd left at her old school. Her dad leaned down and explained, "I wanted to help you start your collection.. so.. Do you lik-" Diana interrupted him with a warm hug.xxxxx"Dad, I love it."
